Why does "gay friendly" matter? Is the only thing you're going to talk about your sexuality or something? Jeez, I have nothing against the LGBT community, I have some gay friends, but when they seek preferential treatment or act like their sexuality is their life it's obnoxious.

It matters a great deal because gays in real life are constantly hammered with heterosexuality at every turn possible.

A whole race in ME universe-Asari-was specifically designed to vulgarly pander to heterosexuality. We are getting sick of such things and I don't want to hear from any heteros about their love for ******, ******, how they have girlfriends and other such crap in any direct or indirect way.

^^^^ :wizard:

Well, the gay MALE community might not like those things :P

So everyone with gay friends is just covering up their homophobia. You're an idiot.

Like I said, my best friend is a homosexual, so that shows I'm totally tolerant to homosexuals, as long as they act cool and don't make a huge deal out of it.

Right... like those politicians that TOTALLY have gay friends so that proves they aren't homophobic but still want to make they're "friends" lives as miserable as possible?

Hey, f*ck you. I'm not a homophobe. And don't compare me to your a-hole American homophobic politicians.

My best friend actually is a homosexual. I feel kinda stupid that I only found out about that recently. He looks straight, he acts straight and he talks and walks straight in every single way. Nothing about him shows that he's a homosexual, until recently, when I saw on his Facebook page that he had a new BOYFRIEND. I was like: "Wait.. Eric... you're a homosexual?" And so he told me: "Yes, I'm a homosexual, do you have a problem with that?" To which I replied: "No! No, of course not! I was just wondering why you never told me you're gay." And he said: "You never asked and I'm not one of those gay people that goes parading around with his sexuality. In the end, does it really matter whether I'm straight or gay?" Me: "No, no I think not. I don't think it matters."

No, but people that keep saying they have gay friends to try to PROVE that they aren't homophobic typically are though.

Well, technically they aren't MY politicians, Canadian politicians aren't that stupid. I was just pointing out that what you said has been said by many a homophobe in the past, so take it as you will.

Mettyx, I already knew you're an irrational, intolerant guy, that much was clear from your anti-console pro-PC elitist threads. But now you're just talking nonsense.

How in the world are the asari specifically designed to "vulgarly pander to heterosexuals"? Last time I checked, BOTH male AND FEMALE Shepard can romance an asari. Asari are open to every species and every gender. So how does that make the asari a race designed for hetereosexuals huh? How?

Seriously, how can you expect the heterosexuals to be open and tolerant to you gay people if you're such an intolerant bigot towards heterosexuality yourself?

Well it's good to know that Canadian politicians are not as stupid as some American politicians.

But yeah, my best friend is a homosexual. You don't believe that? Fine, but don't compare me to those a-hole anti-homosexual politicians. Please? Thank you.

Edit: I've seen how cruel Americans can be towards homosexuals, even politicians. It's pretty painful. Some online friends I play games with are homosexuals and they told me all about "proposition 8", a proposition that was suppose to completely turn homosexuals into second-class citizens. I supported my American gay friends and I was really happy for them that prop. 8 was shot down.

I suppose that living in the USA can be pretty hard and cruel for a homosexual from time to time...

You're getting sick of heterosexuals pandering to other heterosexuals? Excuse us for, not to be offensive, but, being normal.

I support gay rights and everything, but it's obnoxious when they expect to be treated like they're special. We're all just people, we're not defined by out sexualities so quit making such a big deal about it.

I play with any and all players, no matter what sexuality, nationality, race, creed or gender. I don't even mind if you're Paragon or Renegade. All that matters is that we share a mutual appreciation for gaming and cooperative play.

Now you didn't specify which console you play on, or whether or not it was even console or PC. I'm which ever, so it's all good.

I've tried to let this topic continue, but it keeps wavering off-topic and needs a rest.
