White and straight Mass Effect players aren't minorities, they generally don't have trouble finding people who are like them, and they usually don't need to worry about whether or not they'll be welcome in a multiplayer game.
Unless you go annoucing to everybody you're gay what's the problem? It's a multiplayer game mode, not a chat room, do you tell people your life story on Battlefield 3 too?

Misleading topic title. You know exactly what you did TC and don't feign ignorance. All you had to do was mention the word gay once (within context) in your post but you neglected to do so. Inb4 lock.
Nothing misleading about it and quite honestly those who think so are far from reality. I am assuming people on this forum are over 18 and can find their own context clues even if they have to read a few posts more. This is hardly bait and switch and not within your responsibility to mention otherwise.

nothing misleading at all.
again this is your problem, not the OP`s.
it shouldnt be any different than asking for welsh players etc.

So you do not form some offline rapport with the people you play any of your games with??? If so that is understandable but not everyone is inclinded to game that way.

Just out of curiosity, how do you play ME3's multiplayer that being gay is a pre-requisite?? (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Well wanting a only-gay squad for MP is straightophobia....

No, because, if I did, I'd almost certainly get crap for it. It's natural to want to chat in a multiplayer game, but I suppose people who got into gaming this generation wouldn't know that.
This might come as a surprise, but before party chat and Xbox Live and whatnot, people did chat while playing. And they still do, on dedicated servers in PC games like Minecraft.

Unless you have played other multiplayer games and listened to the communication over the mic then you probably won't fully have the appreciation for avoiding disruptive types.

Agreed... some peeps online are just morons... but as far as I'm concerned they can be homosexual morons I don't really give a ****...
anyway, since I fit your only criteria at all, and that I'm kinda busy ATM (poorly) preparing myself for an exam, I'll just say sorry but I can't. have fun though.

He's not broken any forum rules, he's not being offensive and he's not trolling. So why people feel the need to come in here and leave posts as they would in a troll thread is beyond me.
He wants to game with gaymers, he's entitled to, and he wants to play ME3 with gaymers, how else is he going to go about it. Why is this such a problem?
If this thread were to be locked, it would be simply because of all the homophobes who clearly find this thread offensive, not because of the nature of the thread. Nothing malicious about it.

I don't get what peoples problem is with this thread? The only misleading thing about it is that he's not looking for specifically gay players, just more open-minded individuals who aren't likely to berate him for his sexuality.

Well first, this should be in the multiplayer thread. Second, the title suggests as if he is asking who's gay or not. Third, I don't see any homophobic people insulting his sexuality here so what's this "homophobe are insulted" talk going on.

I am all inclusive but I expect that to be in return for those who decide to party-up among any group I am included in as the experience is to be fun for everyone and nothing should hinder that for any especially with a game of this caliber.

Woah! What's wrong with straight players?
They're more likely to be homophobic than gay players.
And anyway, it's easier to relate to other gay dudes. It's so awkward talking to straight people about gay things sometimes.

I did send a PM to a mod to have this moved to multiplayer but no response. I have done my part on that.
