Woah! What's wrong with straight players? Are we not good enough for your homosexual ways?

That's what I was asking but from what I understand they just want to talk openly about homosexual stuff while playing Mass Effect so they want to avoid Douchebags...

I have no real issues with this but I still try to understand the logic behind this... I mean you can find morons everywhere... Gay Straight, black white, boys girls... An annoying son of a biatch is still an annoying son of a biatch... Spock is crying ATM

Well, I guess I can understand that. I mean, I guess it would be a little awkward being in the middle of that conversation. Kind of uncomfortable. Either way, this thread gets my stamp of acception. Go on with your business.

You were closer than most but the most accurate statement would not be to talk openly about homosexual stuff but rather avoid confrontation if in the event that did come up. Also every other facet of life has their own groups/gangs/clubs etc so why not in a multiplayer experience as well??

I don't get what peoples problem is with this thread? The only misleading thing about it is that he's not looking for specifically gay players, just more open-minded individuals who aren't likely to berate him for his sexuality.

He's not broken any forum rules, he's not being offensive and he's not trolling. So why people feel the need to come in here and leave posts as they would in a troll thread is beyond me.

He wants to game with gaymers, he's entitled to, and he wants to play ME3 with gaymers, how else is he going to go about it. Why is this such a problem?

If this thread were to be locked, it would be simply because of all the homophobes who clearly find this thread offensive, not because of the nature of the thread. Nothing malicious about it.

Well first, this should be in the multiplayer thread. Second, the title suggests as if he is asking who's gay or not. Third, I don't see any homophobic people insulting his sexuality here so what's this "homophobe are insulted" talk going on.

It being in the wrong forum is minor at best, and the OP has even stated it was an accident that hes aware of, and thats not the suggestion I get from it?

The fact people are leaving mostly negative comments in here tells me people clearly find this offensive, they're not upset itsin the wrong forum, they're upset it exists.

The OP has never said he has a problem with heterosexual individuals, just that he would personally prefer to play with like-minded individuals, in this case, gays.

Probably the most articulate and accurate assessment of what my intention is for this thread. ;)

They're more likely to be homophobic than gay players.

And anyway, it's easier to relate to other gay dudes. It's so awkward talking to straight people about gay things sometimes.

That sounds an awful lot like KKK logic.

Not LGBT, but an ally, playing on PS3. Feel free to add me if you want (or not, if you don't feel like it).

Hope you find other LGBT gamers to play MP with! =]

The KKK sought to diminish the rights of people they thought were below them. How is this related?

You could say that about how girls like to talk to other girls about their girly things, or mums preferring to talk to other mums about their children?

People prefer socialising with people with common interests, nothing 'KKK' about it my friend.

Imagine the hate someone would get when saying "I only want to hang around with straigth people, because i don't like to hang around with homosexual people". Half the guys in this topic would explode with rage. And yet, when a gay person asks the exact same thing it's ok.

Probably not fair to sane people to have justified his remark with a logical response lol:lol:

The KKK didn't represent a sexual minority hated by at least half of society, denied rights by most states and governments, etc.

I don't mind you hanging around with straight people or that you would announce it but any group you are in make sure your being considerate and not have to be the guy that got the wrong directions to the party because they think he is a jerk or someone they don't wish to associate with due to drawing very thin and illogical comparisons between them and the KKK.

Gay people expressing desire to not be around people who're potentially homophobic/abusive doesn't really equal straight people not wanting to be around gay people just because they're gay. There's a difference there.

Hope that helps.

TAKE YOUR LOGIC AND LEAVE!

This is about distorting reality with political bias and blind, stupid emotion! Not logic. Sheesh.

Do you even know what this thread is about? We're not even talking about the devs.

Someone sure is angry about "[my] like."

With this backwards logic, I'm convinced you are a troll, as your profile picture shows.
