I have AR mods for stability and ammo clip (90 shots/clip) but that AR is just... too weak. Even if i go right in someone's face (on silver) and hold the trigger while aiming at their face, they go down after 5-10 seconds (if all my bullets hit of course). I tried that gun with multiple class (soldier level 20, infiltrator level 18, engineer level 18) and even with damage boost from passive skills, killing a centurion is impossible with only that gun.
Am I missing something? What class/skill/power should i use to make that weapon useful? Otherwise ill just stick to my Carnifex+scope (headshot 1-hit kill anything on silver).

level one guns are always lame my level 5 phalanx is as strong as the carnifex.

I have the Reventant III and it's damage is rather good. Also as a soldier try going into Adrenaline Rush with the Damage upgrades. That might help.

Kicks too much for my tastes. Avenger is gun for me, I like how accurate it can be even on full auto.
