No its a bit more on the having fun part..if all you did was brag when you played MP then that is a bit sad.

Multiplayer is a competitive "sport" it's the only point that it has. Otherwise you are just killing random stuff for no reason. While you may find that fun I don't.

Better than I thought it was going to be... I actually enjoyed it more than the SP portion but you level up so fast I can't see myself or anyone getting much replay out of it. Got to a level 18 Krogan in two afternoons... probably could have got to 20 If I put in another couple of hours but I just couldn't bare to replay the same two levels again.

Some of the cinematic clips cut from the demo look cool though. How many maps do you guys reckon there are in the game?

I haven't tried it, I don't want to play the game until the actual game comes out. I just said I could never really see myself getting into MP as much as I did SP, with ME:1 and 2.

Well I tried it out and enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I wasn't going to play multiplayer on my first playthrough, but now I'm considering about changing that idea.

After playing both, it's clear mulitplayer is where the focus is and I care deeply about it now. It's fun as hell. Single player? Meh..can't bring myself to care too much at this point.

Have you actually tried it? If so, and you don't like it, cool. Different strokes for different folks. But, many of us are having quite a lot of fun with it. Moreso than the single player. This will probably change when the full game hits, of course. Try it, you might like it.

Your friends don't affect the story. They affect your galactic readiness meter. Play the demo, or at least read what has been known about the multiplayer basically ever since it was announced last year.

It does not change the fact that i dont like MP-mode in ME3. I played the the Demo. SP is ok. But when it comes to MP. Then more often then not, no matter what game it is. There are too many immature players and douchbags out there. It does not appeal to a man of my age.

No, was never interested in MP for ME, it doesn't really matter whether its good or bad.

I don't think its going to last for the exception of the really die hard, not when Aliens Colonial Marines is around the corner --- now that MP is probably going to be bad ------.

There's just so many MP's out there, the only ones that seem to really keep on trucking is the normal suspects- Call of Duty ect.

Its an interesting side game to play though but by no means essential.

Kinda ironic how the MP demo is more polished than SP, yet there are still people who won't even look at the option based on principle alone. The thing works. It actually, genuinely, adds to the game. I probably won't use Galaxy At War during my first playthrough, but I fully intend to level an awesome Krogan Soldier.

 The MP is fun, i've been enjoying it on the demo for a few days now. I think it's a nice addition. 

EDIT: Melee attacks with Krogan are awesome.

I tried it for a little while, it's fun enough.

But I have a Silver account on the 360, so I don't think I'll be using it at all, once the game comes out. I'm not that interesting in getting a Gold membership at this point.

You obviously haven't played ME3 MP. You don't shoot each other, you have to work as a team. Unlike CoD where you're aim is to kill as many of each other off, you are always on the same team in ME3 MP, and have to keep each other alive for 10 waves.

Bioware has made it so that you're always on the same team, and fighting against A.I enemies. It gets rid of the immature and competiveness edge that CoD has.

Why not?

Because as a console player with a decent number of brain cells in my head I tend to roll my eyes when people stereotype us as some prehistoric race of cave dwellers who somehow managed to survive into the modern era long enough to hop on Xbox 360s and curse at our mothers for yelling at us mid-match.
