Bro, you don't know what is hate... you don't play a melee speced class that basically just runs in a pack of enemies and runs out to search for another one when the pulp left behind can't be separated into specific bodies.

you forget about the 90% of the times where you die horribly in a place where none of your teammates can ress you and then rage quit instead of waiting till the end of the wave or if your persistent, **** at your team for not ressing you while you have 2 turrets pointing at you

Happens rarely, but again - I speced the character for maximum melee dammage and maximum durability, charging one turret is perfectly doable, two would be a problem indded.

mmm maybe you should share that build with all the dead mellee characters in my games, then again, maybe they should think twice before charging anything they see( like 2 phantoms 5 soldiers, a turret, 2 guardians, an engi, a nemesis and an atlas) (yes true story)

The only thing that bothers me is as an Adept, when I singularity a group of enemies, and I go to warp one and then have the detonation kill/highly damage everyone else, but someone else kills it with their weapon/tech ability. No warp/singularity bomb, complete waste of potential damage.

I think some people have an idea of how each class should play, but it's silly. If you can make a role work for your class, play it. Engineer who rushes in like a Krogan soldier? If you make it work, cool. Vanguard who's only weapon is a Mantis? If that's your thing, god bless.

Don't listen to those people. If you're on XBox you can add me to you friends list - I love an aggressive engineer with Cryo, lol. My favorite supporting class :) Gamertag is same as my name BSN user name :)

Woah, hold the phone.... What's a cryo explosion?

There's an upgrade to Incinerate so that it does additional damage to frozen targets. Cryo the target then hit them with Incinerate and the target explodes. I don't think it works so well on protected targets but I only got a Quarian Engineer last night and want to play around wit it a bit more.

I've mostly been playing Engineer in the mp and it's the ******. You're not kill-stealing op you're kill-helping Image IPB

I get the same response when I play agressive with my vanguard and try to be a distraction and kill the Atlas, so they can get objectives done. They're all like "y u no let me kill the big baddy," and I'm like "your welcome, I just saved your a** from an Atlas.

Since there seems to be a good many people who play engineers here, hopeful someone can help me out. Do the kills you drone get (with rockets) count toward your kill score? I've noticed that it doesn't pop up points when it kills one, but I thought maybe it just added it to your score since the drone is floating halfway across the map. I tried to check the scores between and see, but it's a little hard when your getting swarmed. Does anyone know for sure, one way or the other?

Yes it counts.

Engineers are a awesome class, you can take shields and barries and have incinerate to deal with armor.
Probably this "Support" thing does not exist.

I'd say find new friends, XP is ridiculously easy to level up, we are all trying to win the Wave battles not XP battles. I find most of the time XP differentials are not huge anyway.

yes, I assume so.

I often notice kills popping up from drones and turrets.

I never thought ANY class is "support". It is not based on the class it i based on the style you play and your team. With an engineer I play very aggressively, using Combat Drone and Incinerate with Phalanx, but nobody complained yet.

I see the pop up on the side that says it killed whatever, but it doesn't pop up points like when I kill something with a gun or tech powers. I wasn't sure it it actually awarded points or just acknowledged that it killed something.

I'm sure you get the points----the thing is that it's hard for the player to 'synchronize' in his head, the point reports with the drone kills, because when a drone kills something, it usually takes place outside of your field of vision.

About the 'supporting' role: Well, the drones are an excellent way to weaken defenses, lure enemies out of cover, and have guardians expose their backs. So they clearly play a 'supportive' role in that sense. Even more importantly, the Engineer can just zap away the shields from Centurions, 'Nemeses', and----yes, even the *barriers* of Phantoms.

There are no XP differentials. Every person in the game gets the exact same amount of points.

You probably actually want one person to dominate, because that person will get valuable trophies, which are shared with the whole team.
