Let me start off by saying that I'm deeply enjoying the multiplayer.  I have formed some thoughts on how the experience might be tweaked a bit in the coming months.  I've tried to keep my suggestions to what I think are simple and concise.  I'm not sure about all the specifics of the how the final multiplayer systems will work, so if I state something that will be there, please politely inform me.

To be clear, I'm playing on Xbox 360.

1) Don't require a unique name for each individual character created in the multiplayer class selection.

2) Let the player choose what the first character in each class is that they want to unlock.

3) Let there be a way to hold more supplies , even if its only from a temporary bonus.  Perhaps let players be able to pick up an extra supply in battle if a specific condition is met.

4) If a player receives an unlock for a character class through a Pack that has already been unlocked, give the existing character the experience boost, or tweak the pack generator to detect classes unlocked to avoid the situation.

5) Make the Reset Powers options available immediately.

6) Allow for a Custom class that lets you choose three powers from all the classes different abilities.  Perhaps it could be represented by a Geth.

That's all I've got for now.  I'll add more later if I think of anything else.  I'd mention technical issues, but I haven't encountered anything worth mentioning.  It's been very fun and I look forward to playing more.

1) The names required so you can import (promote) your characters into the single player campaign. (non-demo obviously)

2) Thats a good idea, everyone starting off with human can get jarring. I doubt anything will change though :3

3) Would feel uneeded.

4) Getting a character card multiple times unlocks appearance customization for the character, so no need to change :3

5) Agreed.

6. Being able to have any 3 powers would lead to massive balancing issues.
But hell yes for Geth being in :3

My thoughts on your thoughts ^_^

1) The seperate character names are unneeded, but I don't mind them at all;

2) Agreed;

3) Unneeded imo. You're getting enough for the round.

4) what el-jasho said;

5) I do not understand what you're asking;

6) Was thinking about it too, but then I realized that if you would be able to do that, there wouldn't be a need to play the class that only has that one ability. It's all about the teamwork and how your team co-ordinates, even in ability usage.

1) As per above, it's got other uses rather than just the MP bit.

2) I personally think it's good as is. Gives you an incentive to level up and discover new characters later.

3) The only time I felt supplies were needed was when we all ran out of missiles and had to chew away at the Atlas'

4) You get 12,500 XP for normal unlocks and 50,000 for gold ones. Plus you also get extra appearance customization (if you've already unlocked that character).

5) You can in the full game - just not in the demo.

6) Geth, yeah! But I agree that it would be too good to pick.

1) Agree with the krogan
2) Agree with Op, but I would change it so you can unlock which gender of the human race you want to play as, choose only once which alien race you want to unlock first. I don't know for other people, but playing as a female is weird, since the only difference is gender and not abilities.
3) Agree with the krogan
4) I would tweak it so it stops appearing once you achieve all the appearance customization. Why would you want free XP?
5) Agreed, but it should cost you credits
6) No, then what would be the point of the alien races? Just the looks?

Thought of a new suggestion after it became a glaring problem in our recent set of matches.

7) Remap the "Revive" command to the B-button with Melee. Too many times comrades died because pressing A-button put us in cover or rolled.

With the closing multiplayer weekend, I took some time to find some more points to critique. Probably nothing than can be fixed by launch, but hopefully some points small enough to be added in later with a simple patch.

8) Weapon level and Part level upgrades earned from packs should state on the card what is being boosted.

9) Have a third type of pack to buy. It could be a middle range pack at 15,000, and then raise veteran cost to 25,000 or 30,000. Perhaps a pack that has one guaranteed rare, costing 50,000.

10) A method for deducing your teammates health and shield levels. Maybe the gauges display when looking at their name, or their name is colored different based on their current health.

11) Be able to suggest positions to move to with the waypoints used in single player. It could be assigned to clicking right stick (R3).

Well, that's all for now.  I can't wait to play the final game and see how Multiplayer really goes down.  I'll post other critiques after a long and involved session of mutiplayer.

I believe the ability to respec powers is found when buying packs. I think what the OP means with #5 is making the respec option permanent option in the store. That way you could buy it when needed instead of having it as random.

As for your other points, I agree with the others.

1) Would be kind of nice if I could use the same name multiple times, but i'm not terribly broken up about it requiring unique names for everything.

2) I would rather see them just have male and female humans unlocked by default for everything, since they have the exact same abilities anyway.

3) Not really needed, supply packs are supposed to be a choice, not something I can spam.

4) I wouldn't mind seeing it detect that I have everything unlocked customization wise for a specific class and not giving me that card anymore(I think I got human female infiltrator like 15 times on the demo).

5) Agreed

6) Would cause immense balance issues, and make everyone less unique, as most people would just be using the "best" loadout.

7)Not entirely sure what they should do with consoles, no matter what you set up you'll probably end up in a situation where the same button covers multiple functions(If you bound it to melee, you could end up reviving the nearby teammate instead of meleeing that nearby phantom to kill it). For PC they should let me bind it to something else if wanted, I have more than enough keys to do that.

8) Wouldn't mind seeing what exactly is being affected, but it's not huge either, as you can just go and look at the stats afterwards.

9) I believe the full version is going to have a lot more packs than just the 2 in the demo

10) A UI thing like they had in ME1 to show your squad's health and shield status would be rather nice to have.

11) Having waypoints and marking enemies would be nice to have a well. Can overcome with communication(Should be easier on xbox since more people are likely to have mics) though so not a massive issue imo.

7) Just being able to remap should be work on consoles. Melee is a fairly important command. I'd like to stick revive to whatever I deem fits best.
8) You see what gets boosted when you go to attach the part to your weapons. It doesn't really matter before then.
9) I'm sure the full game has more pack types.
10 and 11) I completely agree.

1.  No one sees the name aside from you and you can change it anytime, why complain about this?  The feature exists for the single player game, but still it's an odd thing to complain about.

2.  No... what would be the point of getting unlocks if you could just pick your favorite to start?  Should we also pick the first sniper rifle, assault rifle, pistol, etc that we start with?

3.  I like your idea there.  It would be nice if objective rounds had optional but more difficult conditions to meet or players gain an additional reward if they completed the objective extremely quickly (beyond the credit bonus).  This could come in the form of more supplies, or maybe a free ammo type for the rest of the round, or direct help like activating automated defense systems against future waves... or even more of a tactical reward like eliminating a certain enemy type from the next wave or preventing them from using certain skills... like engineers being unable to setup turrets, or phantoms unable to stealth.

4.  I'm confused by this... you already get an experience boost if you unlock the same character twice.

5.  Unnecessary.  The button exists to reset powers you have assigned but not yet confirmed.  If you want a broader form of respeccing, that occurs when you promote a character to the single player and your multiplayer class of that type gets reset.

6.  Not a good idea.  The idea behind the current system is balancing certain classes and races based on the skills they bring to the fight.  If you could just pick any three in the long run you would be destroying variety, not adding to it because everyone who wanted to play in the higher difficulties would figure out what the most optimal combination is and use it.

Now I've had plenty of time to play around with the retail multiplayer, I've come up with new suggestions.   Some of my suggestions were resolved in the release version.  A quick recap on the resolved points.
1) Names don't even seem to matter, so I don't even know why it's required.
2) I still don't get why we can't choose our first character in each class, since that would technically leave more things to unlock.  With the higher rates of rare unlocks it's not really an issue any more.
3) I see a Rare item is expanding capacities, and the way it's done is fine.
4) I didn't realize character cards were giving XP bonuses to whole class set originally.  My bad.
6) A custom class could still be future DLC, so I'll leave it at that.
8) I didn't realize the upgrades were boosting multiple stats instead of a single stat. There are fine in their current state.
9) They indeed have more pack types and add special types on occasion.

The points that haven't been.

5) I know the Respec is a rare item.  I don't understand why it's an item.  It seems like something that should be available more freely.   I could understand it being locked until you've successfully promoted the character.
7) The Revive button being on the Run/Roll/Cover/Do other stuff button is still causing issues.  Needs a fix.
10) Still can't tell how your teammates are doing on health.  There should be a way.
11) We could still use a form of communication in the game beyond voice chat.  Especially when playing with random people and trying to coordinate strategies.  The waypoint would be unobtrusive.

Now for the new suggestions.

12) Random Bonus conditions for matches.  A separate goal that awards the entire squad a bonus if achieved after an extraction is achieved.  Conditions could include not using items/equipment in a match, scoring so many headshots between the team, keeping shields from going down so many times.  Meeting the condition could result in rewards such as a one-time pack discount, bonus percentage of XP or Credits or Both, or a pack of equipment (just equipment, not weapons, upgrades or character stuff).

13) New types of equipment with unique effects.  Effects such as no reloading (gun draws directly from full stock instead of clip count), forsake health to increase shields (have fewer segments of health in a match for shield bonus).  have armor instead of health, chance for critical damage on any shot, and so on.

14) Offer an option for mixing up enemy types.  Not the random enemy option, but intermixing the classes within enemies ranks.  It could be very interesting to see Husks backed up by Cerberus Centurions who huddle around Geth Primes.

15) Bring back the Collectors.  I'm pretty sure all the classes for a full enemy force are in the assets of ME2.  Import them to add one more enemy that could be fought and a collect base map.

That's all for now.  I will certainly be playing more and will revisit the points in the future.
