I heard he won't be making a permanent return? Is this true? If it is then it sucks because Legion only got a minor role in ME2 due to unlocking him so late. He is my favourite character in the Mass Effect universe so I hope he has a prominent role in the third game, especially as there is so much mystery still surrounding him...
So yeah, have we got any confirmation if Legion is a temp sqaudmate? Or a permanant one for that matter?

His return won't be permanent. The only confirmed perm squaddies are the guys from ME1 minus Wrex. With two possible spoilers.

He played prominently in one of the demos shown and I have a feeling the Geth will be fairly important to the story based on some leaked Codex entries I've heard.

Legion will play a prominent role in ME3 but he won't be a permanent squadmate. Maybe a temp one who knows.

Saving/destroying entire Geth base in ME2 didn't give that away?
