I just kind of pay attention, I just watched the peers in one go from 21 to over 1300 in half an hour. I was kind of floored by that, grubby little bastards.
People started already?

Keep in mind that they also send out copies to game journalists for early review purposes.
Anyways I'll get my copy on Thursday... the wait is killing me ;P

Seriously, stop. I think you mean well, but talking about the specifics is just a bad idea.Chamucks Deluxe wrote...

So... How is dagger damage calculated? Is it full STR bonus *plus* some DEX bonus, or fractional STR bonus plus some DEX bonus?danielkx wrote...

One of you guys with the game can you do me a favor and answer a question?
When you open up your 1st specialization do you get an extra talent point to spend in it?
I do not know yet. You have to be level 7 to get to that point, will be awhile before I get there. I finished mage origin, but now I am doing city elf. I felt like seeing that origin

Theres nothing specific at all, and if you feel so then by all means I'll stop no contest.
It's just a little disturbing to me.

There actually is a damage indicator on weapons. When you hover your mouse over it, you get some numbers, one is Damage. The first dagger I got has a damage of 4.00, but that is just for the weapon. There is also "Damage (main hand)" which is basically the approximate damage you will do with the weapon you are holding.
For example, the dagger has damage 4, but when I equip it, it shows my Damage (main hand) as 7.8.
I haven't actually used the dagger yet. When I equip my staff, it shows damage as 7.9, and I seem to deal around 8 damage when I do basic attack with it.

some stores apparently break the release date and put the game up for sale when they receive the shipment
=(
If the game is released, then the game should be sold. If you get the shipment, you should be able to sell it and the consumer should buy it.
Release dates are stupid after a game has gone gold and does nothing to deter piracy.
