Dunno, as an Asari adept I DO get most kills, not assists. I blow up atlases, kill phantoms completely on my own, on gold, well as long as I have armor-piercing rounds that is.

no, you are right. i am able to outscore most playing an asari adept. i do alot of damage so my scores off assists are high..but im not getting the kills. i just work hard to do the crowd control and take out phantoms more than anything. I lock down whatever i can so my squaddies can smoke um..especially on silver and gold.

If you just unlocked the asari and havent even maxed lvl I doubt you can clear silver on your own. youll still have probs with enemies like the nemesis who cant be stasis'ed that easily as she finds cover so easily. and in capture the objective youll get surrounded and lose a lot of health even to normal troopers.

Capture the objective is the most hard one if you solo, but to just kill everyone it's pretty easy as an asari adept.

I don't have an Asari adept yet...but I've seen one in action, pretty beast, arguably drastically imbalanced, none of the classes are truly balanced but its not PVP so its not a major concern

Also based on your signature doody you are obviously biased lol

I know, I enjoy playing the asari adept. But I'm just saying that you can do that yourself too. Stasis a phantom and shoot them in the head a couple of times, and they die, no need to call for squadies.

I must start playing the infiltrator soon. I just played with a salarian who simply didn't need me for anything. He was shooting Claymore like a Scimitar. How on earth is that even possible. He was taking Atlases down like crazy. Mother of god.

On the other hand, the adept is perfectly fine.
But why nerf it? can't you just make phantoms immune to the stasis :-) ?

sure, you know, the only reason that you want the stasis is that you can stop phantoms, right? Because you can get easy explosions with other means.
I'd rather give another class some phantom counter other than a 300M! Claymore to the face.

I get your point. But there are other classes that dont do well againgst phantoms too. Still think its a bit over the top, but as long as this is a coop-mp: meh.

In a gold match this ability surely has its place because its so ridiculously difficult. But on silver (dont even mention bronze) its just too - good. Boring.

I have been an adept fan since ME1, but you guys seriously have to scale this character back.  Its silly.

This is a demo.

It includes only 2 maps, and most importantly only one type of enemies.

I wonder how fine asaris will handle against geth for example. Compared to a maxed out overload/incinerate engineer or a sabotage quarian. So yeah, they are the most powerful in the demo. You can't make decisions based on limited knowledge about the whole game.

I don't see why their arsenal would work as well vs Geth.  Geth tend to be shielded if ME2 is a guide, so stasis will work most of the time.

If husks were armoured like in ME2 hardcore, that would be their nightmare I think.

Asari shouldn't have a problem vs guardians once you get the phalanx/carnifex. It's easy enough to curve warp/throw around the shield as well.The only thing they really don't do well is the Atlas. Everything else is easymode.

Even the Atlas they do pretty well. Warp/Throw is a pretty good option there - and the resulting biotic explosion has the bonus of clearing out any enemies lurking nearby.

well a friend of mine has a human vanguard and I think they are OP. a charge that can fully regen shields? not to mention the frequency he uses his abilities... but then I look at my adept or sentinal and I see what abilities I can spam and they are all much of a muchness.... and regardless how powerful I think they are... we still cant do gold with a full and competent team lol

A good Asari adept player teamed with at least two infiltrators and I'd have to say an engineer could clear house on Silver easily. Probably wouldn't be a bad class for Gold either if you serve as support aka stasis everything.

The drell vanguard is just as op. That is why you unlock them rather than start with them.
