When i unlock a new character, its lame that it is already level 20 and i just have to assign the points.

i would much rather have to level up each character individually, because that makes me play the toon in order for it to be awesome. it also gives me more of an excuse to play the MP more

at the very least give us an option to level them separately.

also does gold become as easy as silver when you have fully upgraded level X guns? (im assuming X is the max lvl like it was in ME1)

also do we have any idea how many enemy types/maps will be available on release?

Agreed.

I've not played Gold but I've seen vids and it does not become easy due to sheer number of Atlas and Phantom spams even with higher level weapons.

im happy that it does not become easy, but i dont think atlas and phantom spam is the way to keep it hard :P

I agree partially, it would extend play-time for sure, but then there is the problem of if you want to try out another specie, you have to start all over again. Something like Call of Duty's prestige system would do wonders for this game (and I am the last person to call praise for Call of Duty). I was also disappointed when I unlocked L20 Krogan and didn't have the joy of raising him from little babby to WARLORD RAEG!

I agree with this. I mean if you have friends you can get to level 8-10 in 2-3 matches anyway, esp with weapon upgrades etc

well the part when you level the same class and get the same class but different race and thats given to you at level 19 there really no way to learn how to play them  untill you get few levels under you belt

You can just assign some points... and pretend you are level 5 and try them out for a match. Then you can assign more? I dont' really see how this is a problem. It doesn't actually reduce any options.

Well when you get a gold match and they are expecting your level 20 to be a level 20 and not a 5 it could be a problem!

problem is that no one does that and you know it we all want to see what  the max level does for the cool spells and damage

i would be fine with a prestige system.

basically the problem is it only takes 5-6 days to get all 6 proficiencies to lvl 20. thats way too fast imo. i enjoy leveling up. as it is now the only thing that will really take a long time in this is unlocking all the classes, which should not be what takes the longest imo.

it would be nice for some developer feedback on this. are there any plans on extending the replayability of the MP by adding more progression?

The prestige system, I think, is the promote option that is locked in the demo.

I'd have to agree with this. Was really shocked to see that the class levels equally. Longevity won't be as much of an issue with this being fixed and some sort of prestige system.

I agree. I was a level 19 soldier when I got my Krogan Soldier and found out he was the same level too. It would be nice to level up each character individually.

Why would you take your (effectively level 5) character who you don't have much experience with into Gold?

Well if you've been playing the demo then you already know it happens

im not sure what ur saying shenlon

the reason i wouldnt want a 'just dont apply the points' scenario is it feels like a cheap solution. the point of playing the character is the incentive of earning the points to improve the character. if i am just handed the points it feels like i didnt earn it.

i expected the multiplayer of me3 to be fun. i didnt expect the mp demo to devour 3 days of my life (so far). i can see myself playing this more than the SP of me3 (i played me2 9 times and plan to play me3 at least that many times). im making this suggestions because i want to help make it even better.

i know it sounds kind of sad for me to say leveling up is a large motivation for me playing, but there is just something about it. its extremely satisfying and fun, and keeps me playing.

MOAR PROGRESSION

A game should be fun, regardless of unlocks/level ups. I, as well as others, don't have the time to max out each class and sub-class. If it really bothers you that much, then don't give them points and only add a few points every 5 rounds. Limit yourself, not others.

you know I grind for work already and I dont wanna grind for a game. I am happy as it is but I doubt it'll stay like this in the final product.
