I tried looking for an answer, but maybe I just missed it? Sorry if it's already been answered.

I think the answer is no, but I want to make sure.

And a bonus question if you happen to know: if I wanted to unlock the Krogan Soldier quickly, should I get a bunch of the 5000 credit packs or just stick with 20000 credit packs and hope the RNG (Random Number God) takes pity on me?

well i tried googling it and just came up with a someone saying they found a solid NO. So... seriously, Bioware? i finally get the Quarian engineer after 4 days of gameplay and then you give me this ****?! better make it less rare in the full game.

maybe ill continue to just play the demo when i want to do multiplayer. even when the full game is out

I'm pretty sure the Demo is connected to the MP servers that will be used when the Retail comes out. I doubt they are gonna let people play on those servers for free.

well in the mass effect 2 demo they let you carry over your campaign stats... hopefully its the same on this one but multiplayer... please bioware. do it for the children... er. the mass effect fans*

anyway i will get the quarian again in the full game if the stats really dont carry. My love for Quarians is too awesome, as my grammar is too poor. and my eyes not red enough.

From the Mass Effect Demo FAQ:

Will any data from Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer carry over into the real game? Like the Galactic Readiness level or similar?
No, no data from the Multiplayer or Single Player demo carries into the full game.

I'm pretty sure it'll be much easier for unlocks in the full version. Just have to be patient, is all.

I think the unlock rate is fine where it's at. I don't think they'll change it much.

nothing carries over. that being said, just keep on getting vet packs. even if you don't get any characters, think of it like this: you got the bad luck out of the way now, so the good luck will come when it matters. even though that contradicts the coin flip fallacy (10 tails in a row? better chance of heads next flip), it can help you sleep at night.

Thats a good thing honestly. I am just trying out different builds with the different characters now, so I don't screw them up with the actual game.
