Here's what happened:

I was just in a game where the host dropped as soon as we started wave 1. A pop-up then came up afterwards, stating that the round was restarting. When it did, we ended up dropping 2 players, and we were suddenly in Wave 11 - Extraction.  We decided to go along with it and after surviving the 2 minutes, instead of a 'Mission Complete', we got a 'Mission Failed'.  Around 29k XP was awarded and I think we got the 'Full Extraction' Medal O.o

Something similar happened to me. The host left on the last wave and it restarted, we then completed it only to have "failed on wave 11". Very annoying considering how many points we lost because of it.
