Most of the faces have been "adjusted". Consolized. PClized. Average...lized. Dunno. Anderson, Udina, Ashley really don't look the same. They actually look worse. Where does it say in the codex that people undergo crazy facial plastic surgeries? Wait... There is no codex. 

I want angry-looking Udina back. He's not angry anymore.

I want ass-kick-ready Anderson back. He's better off posing for photographs now rather than hitting Udina again.

No, but the fact that we do care about something that might seem incredibly insignificant to some just shows how much we care about this game in it's entirety (and how little BW cares about us who have been with Mass Effect since November 07). It's just not enough to show us an awesome-looking cinematic trailer with lots of fast-paced action to make us all turn a blind eye to some of the things that worry us.

As for the AC changes I guess with a better engine then no doubt character appearances will change but some of the redesigns have been pretty damn crazy. I don't mind Anderson, his face was a bit too fat and chubby in ME1 and 2

As for AC:Revelations, I don't agree with the changes for Desmond. All I think of when I see Desmond in that game is HEY DESMOND CUZZIN WANNA GO BOWLING? The changes in appearance on Altair and Ezio are okay, I mean jeez they are aging now so you can't expect them to look the same as always, heh.

Udina with his black hair... well... maybe he coloured it?

They used the L.A Noire style of animating faces as to capture proper facial movments. Makes the faces look more like the actor. The problem with doing that in AC is that the actors these characters are based on probably wouldn't have been used during the capture.

It's a setting where anyone can take pigment pills to change the color of their skin, a character's hair color changing is a non issue.
