So, why exactly is Cerberus against you, if you cooperated with them in ME2?

Because it's easier to write one story with no deviation than one story with little deviation.

Same reason Saren turned against the Council.

Because TIM is indoctrinated by all the Reaper Tech he has.

Hope it's a good reason and not...

"We got indoctrinated"

"We got greedy"

"we don't like you even though we spent 4,000,000,000 to bring you to life"

Yeah, this is going to hurt my CerberShep. They went pro Cerberus to the nth degree. I wonder how that'll pan out?

Or because TIM has plans that making being pro-Cerberus not in Shepard's best interests. Even if you agreed with his ideals, his methods are obviously suspect.

Likely whatever he has in mind in ME3 is incompatible with stopping the Reapers

According to Game Informer, tIM doesn't want Shepard to destroy the Reapers because he wants to take control of them for himself.

Yeah, who'd want to make a working game with dozens upon dozens of choices along with memorable characters and a fantastic story.

*cough* Alpha Protocol *cough*

I have a feeling TIM is indoctrinated to at least the lightest degree. I believe so because of the events of the comic series "Mass Effect: Evolution"

Theres a reasonable reason for that... Reapers offer to Timmy a lot of money, women and the chance to be the cool voice of the human reaper... in exchange of making the invasion a piece of cake to Squidward Tentacles and his fellows.

Just good bussiness

Is this true or just sheer speculation? Of all the theories that.... has to be the worst. Hope it isn't that or BW.... I am disappoint.

What's wrong with that theory? Just imagine TIM surfing on the back of a Reaper sandworm style.

That is how people ride around with Reapers, right? I think Saren did that.

TIM = new Saren. I wouldn't be surprised if he redeems himself in the end with the right paragon or renegade dialogue.
