Seems like a universal complaint is the graphics at times... that's too bad considering that most of the screens look gorgeous. I am hoping that the PC version maxed out on powerful PC will overcome that..

I cant even play ~N64 games without cringing at the graphics these days. I tried to play the Persona games on the PSP a few weeks ago and just couldnt do it no matter how good people were telling me it was. Its a shame too, I grew up on Dos games.

No matter how bad N64 graphics were and are, Zelda Ocarina of Time. Badass.

Thanks for the review link, I enjoyed it.
He (or she) didn't seem to have an issue with the controls for the console, which is a relief.

You know, graphics are all well and good, but I'd prefer a game that is enjoyable due to its lack of glitches and deep story. If they cut back on the graphics to increase the content, I don't care.

Great review, It's reassuring to know that the combat controls in the 360 version are nice and polished. I don't mind the graphics so far, though I guess I'll have to actually play the game to find out. The only problem I've had is the hair. Any kind of longish hair looks really stiff, like it's held in place with lots and lots of gel.

I'll never understand all the complaining about graphics. My favorite games of all time still include Baldur's Gate 2 and Jagged Alliance 2, even though the graphics are outdated.

Personally I like the graphics and don't really understand the complaints by most reviewers.Maybe I'm biased but, it looks good to me. But I guess I don't really care about the graphics if the gameplay is good.

Good graphics are always a plus in this art medium. Its like user better color paints on a picture. Or telling a story with embellishment. However, Graphics don't make the game alone. From what I have seen the graphics look just fine to me. I grew up playing the old dos box forgotten realms and Dragonlance games. Great games not so great graphics. I think in this case the graphics will do the job just fine. The animations seem a little stiff on NPCs but the monster animations and texture work look great.

Stiff animations... haha, deus ex had stiff animations (and still great ;-) )
For me personally graphics isn't too high up on the list of what's important in a game.

I agree with most of you -- DA's graphics are perfect for me.
The key factors are definitely the depth of content, character customization, story, character interaction and combat mechanics.
Graphics can take a backseat to all or any of those any day of the week.

The graphics don't really seem up to modern standards I think is what people are saying, not that they're particularly bad.
Personally I don't really care that much as long as the story and gameplay elements are good.

These reviewers are ignorant to the fact that they recieved a console port. This is a PC game made to be played in Baldurs Gate overhead camera angles. Wait for PC reviews from well known magazines/websites to see the 9's and 10's

The reviewers also seem to not realize that the graphics level was kept this way for pc users with old computers, as well as going all out on graphics with something like this would be hindering to the toolset.

I liked everything I heard. This guy is obviously a true RPG gamer since he spent so much time talking about the story and characters.
