Considering the skill sets, you wont be allowed to max them out, would make it rather pointless to have other races in there.

So no 20 is max for now.

20 will most likely be max for the life of the game. I don't see any reason for it to be increased, with the way the game is set up already. Increase the level cap allowing you to max out all of your skills (or perhaps adding another evolve for each ability) just throws a wrench into an already finely tuned engine.

I agree, level 20 will probably be the max for the duration of the game. It takes away the uniqueness of each character if you can just max all your stats.

Level 20 is the max for multiplayer characters. Once you reach it you can import them as war assets into single player.

Any idea if we will be able to respec our characters? Or do we, for example, get a human vanguard to level 20 and import them as a war asset into the single player, start over and get a level 1 human vanguard?

Where did you guys get this info regarding importing lvl 20 chars as war assets?

I hadn't seen that, but I have been admittedly avoiding spoilers like the plague, so please no story spoilers.

Bioware's mentioned it in several interviews and the like.

One of the BioWare guys mentioned you will be able to re-assign your points.

You can even see "Reset Powers" grayed out when you're in the Power menu.

I thought that at first too but the button lights up before you confirm that you want to spend your points there as a quick way to unassigned all of the points spent but not locked in.

Maybe they will add a respec item that you can get from the veteran packs?

You're probably thinking of their N7 rating.

Does anyone know exactly how many skill points we end up with and/or powers we can max/partially fill?

You can fill up exactly 4 skills with no points spent in the 5th, or 83 points plus the one you start with giving you a total of 84.

Provided you max your class skill as one of them, (such as charge for vanguard) you can max 4 of the 5 powers if you put no points in the 5th power.

Thanks a ton. I was worried it'd be way less than that. Goddamn I can't wait to unlock the Krogan Sentinel now.
