That Shepard was not brought back by the Lazarus Project, that Shepard in ME2 is a clone that is aging prematurely and needs to find a cure as he/she fights the Reapers, so that he/she can retire in peace...

Theeeee REAPERS WIN!" over a montage of shots of the galaxy being annihalated along with the Normandy being destroyed and Shepard holding his or her LI as they die before Shepard succumbs to his or her wounds.
