You know, this might actually happen. I mean look at it this way; in US history there have already been several different Enterprises. There was the first (I think) wooden one in the early days and then a second one (I think) in WWII and then a third one in modern day.

Who knows, it might be a converted civilian ship or something. That would be a pretty sweet easter egg!
