And Rainbows, you can't forget the rainbows.
Maybe they'll unleash the Chuck Norris virus and it will beat down all their firewalls.
I'm guessing it'll be along the lines of DA:O where you get everyone together. Have a massive battle, maybe with some extra strategy thrown in, and in the end Shepard and their team will have to battle Harbinger or maybe get onboard and take it down from the inside. I'm just not sure if all Reapers can be entered like Sovereign though.

When hes close for the killshot with the Crucible, he pulls another Prime liner saying " Now I'll light our darkest hour" shooting Harbinger with the super weapon. Epic win!

Proceed to take out reapers one by one increasing fleet size with each reaper kill as more species join the fight as they see Shepards' success.
Complete victory assured by advanced technology (that is alive and knows the reapers) hidden deep in the core of the Earth.
Shepard's last choice: use it or not:
-Using it: will destroy earth and the hidden weapon and all immediate reapers in vacinity of the whole solar system. The combined fleet under Shepard's command takes out the rest of the reapers around the galaxy. Shepard gets to live out the rest of his existance in peace on one of the colony worlds or if romance, that options' home planet.
-Not doing so ...... Earth Explodes on its own and a mother reaper emerges (1000 times that of Sovereign!). Everyone wants to run, Shepard commands every species fleet to attack as it is still activating and is vunerable. Concentrated fire of every species in the fleets' destroys this "Mother Reaper" and the resulting psionic blast causes cascade failure in all other reapers in the solar system...... the galaxy returns to its supposed peaceful state........ Shepard lives out the remainder of his life with romance option if one on a colony of humanity or on his/her spouse's native world..
Either way: If Shepard persued romance, an elderly (or maturing) romance option has been telling the whole story (ME1, ME2, ME3) to an human inquirer (Shepard himself otherwise)..... who claims as he leaves: "If only I could age and end this endless, pointless contest"..... and then says very slyly: "Marshall the galaxy is ready" Chuckling at how he easily fooled the Romance Option or Shepard with his different appearance. As he leaves we see those familar glowing eyes.......
The screen veers away from the scene to a view of the space beyond the galaxy, the screen then zooms in quickly and ten glowing eyes appear diagonally in the darkness and a voice in a low unrecocgnizable menacing grating hissing voice says: "Phase eight complete. Near Superior Enemy Eliminated. Theory confirmed. Humanity possible replacement threat. Begin phase nine."
Glowing beings of energy (5000 times the size of sovereign) appear and begin to the approach the galaxy; the screen then cuts to the credits......
To much?

At the very best, the reapers should be cast into dark space with no way of returning or similiar, destroying them all would make no sense.

Ordering it before it's available.
Also why they call naughty stuff pre c"m and not just c"m.
Simple stuff.

Well in the entertainment industry, Gaming is part of it, Ordering is when it is in stock. Preorder is before the release date. So yes it is Preorder not Order.
Example:
A movie scheduled to be released on 12th to Theatres, so they Preorder a copy giving 10% of the movie cost to rent/own. Now when the movie is shipped to the Threatres the total cost due. Now when a threatre sell the movie that was release to another threatre that is an Order.
Ot let use military way. A order is some thing you do now a Preorder would be something you do at a set time beyond the present. Like at Sunset play colors. It is an Order but it in advance of the time it takes effect.

In the end, everyone will contribute by clearing the path for Normandy to reach Harbinger (brain reaper controlling other reapers) and infect him with virus / Geth.
But crashing another mass relay is also an option.
Someone from Bioware said that there will be no Deus ex machina
Actually the Crucible is the weapon or weapon design you find on mars, you mainly are throughout the game trying to finish creating it, but you will need help from the other races to help finish it and get past the Reapers at Earth.
And just to clear this up the Crucible doesn't destroy the Reapers, there is something else that will, I would know since I read the leaked script, but don't worry not planning on giving spoilers on how you actually beat the Reapers.

I am sorry I did not mean to give it a independence reference. Was not meant as a Deus Ex scenario but as an intro into a possible further trilogy......
I will try to extroplate on what I wrote and try to make clearer what I was trying to indicate:
The reapers near Earth are the ONLY ones that would be destroyed by supreme generals' destruction- not other reapers hiding in the galaxy- including ones on the outer edge of the solar system (the smart Reapers knowning their defeat is assured- NONE of these reapers are disabled by their big boss supreme general death but are invigored by it and head to Earth.... Just end up being killed in a secondary and tertiary space battle).
I took the information provided from Klencory in ME1 on the said "beings of light" (B.O.L.) and flipped it on its head.
I twisted the fact that the light beings are not beings to fight the Reapers but turn out to be the true enemy- even worse than the Reapers and have been behind it all along using TIM as their sovereign manipulating the whole galaxy behind the scenes (1947 NM crash- that was him- all planned by the B.O.L's).
They saw the reapers (as the reapers saw them as well) as a potential threat and given enough time that the Reapers could become powerful enough to beat B.O.L. and so they set a plan in place to eliminate the reapers by manipulating the organic races on a subconscious level to fight the reapers. A plan that when set in motion would cause the organic species to fight the reapers. Basically stalling the Reapers efforts. All the while they were busy in the Triangulum and Andromeda galaxies expanding their forces by tricking those galaxies native species into surrendering their very esscense's to them (B.O.L.) in the form of mass inceneration.
Which the BOL would then store and then feed on and grow twice as powerful but they could not do this if the Reapers would be harvesting all species of the Milky Way allowing the Reapers become ten times more powerful since the reapers do not get rid of the organic component of the species they "lifted"; where the B.O.L.'s did through the mass inceneration.
Basically they wanted to just stall the reapers ability to grow and expand their forces waiting and biding their time till a species could come along that would eventually figure out how to actually beat the reapers. After that they could initiate the final part of their plan- total obliteration of any DNA & RNA laiden life in the Reaper galaxy (Milky Way)
I hope that clears it up some.

By the time it's finished, the Reapers have finished up with Earth along with most other major planets. There's a giant evacuation and all civilians proceed through the relay just as they emerge on top of the relay (they once again track the Normandy's Reaper IFF despite EDI's modifications). There's one last battle to defend the relay because they can't afford for the Reapers, or even just one, to enter through it. Shepard can choose to stay and fight, or go through the relay with the remainder of the galaxy. He can also order some of his squad to go through as it's likely a suicide mission to stay behind. Most protest, but can be convinced as Shepard will say the survivors will need a leader such as them.
One last epic battle ensues and once again, the Reapers massacre the combined fleet of all the races in the galaxy. When they're on the verge of loosing, Shepard (if he's there) proposes something to Admiral Hacket. Hacket considers and with some convincing, he orders the remaining dreadnaughts to fly into the mass relay, destroying it and triggering a huge explosion. This destroys every single Reaper (including Harbinger) in the vicinity... along with Shepard and his crew. The gateway to the new galaxy is broken.
The few Reapers remaining are shocked by their defeat. Nobody knows what happened to the remaining Reapers, but there were under 50 (as almost all were in the battle or destroyed prior). It is likely they continued the cycle, but due to their numbers, it is likely that a united galaxy 50,000 years later destroyed them as long as they prevented them from harvesting a species.
All who escaped never knew the sacrifices Shepard, his crew, and the fleet made that day. They presumed they may have even won as no Reapers followed. They couldn't get back through as the link was broken (and it was a one way trip, the relay was unique because there was no other relay on the other side). They settled in their new galaxy, safe from the Reapers.
A monument was built for Shepard on the new home planet of all the remaining races of the Milky Way because there wasn't many.
