There are 2 medals that don't make sense how to unlock

-Killstreak  (seems simple but I randomly unlock it)
-Biotic kills (I will have killed 25-30 enemies with throw b ut I get the medal for 10 biotic kills)

Kill streak is a multi kill medal that i think the whole team unlocks.

You will usually get it when someone gets a good shot with missile launcher.

I don't know how kill streak works. I only seem to get it when I cobra missle an atlas surrounded by a few guys, never when I head shot 4 or 5 assault troopers in a matter of seconds with the pistol.

As for the Biotic kills, maybe its bugged for throw and just doesn't count it? It might be working for the other biotic stuff.

Killstreak is killing multiple enemies with 1 attack.

Usually it's an atlas with a missile launcher and getting the 203 troopers around it.

You might be able to get a kill streak with a static buble/singularity that is made to explode but that's really rare...

I think you get it when you successfully complete a map with a new character on the first attempt.
It's just a guess, though.

I've gotten 4 or 5 of them and only used 4 characters.

Unknown map is whenever you play with the Unknown level setting on, essentially random.

 you also get +10% more exp

and i think biotic explosions count as biotic kills (for the medal)

I think you get Killstreak medal when you kill 4 enemies with one shot. Usually with heavy weapon or granade. It's worth +2500 exp and if you do it twice it's +5000 exp if I remember right...

I personally believe it should be renamed to multi-kill instead of killing spree. When I see killing spree I figure it would be a certain amount of kills in a short amount of time. When I see multi kill I think 1 shot multiple kills.

This makes sense as kill-streak suggests killing a multiple enemies quickly rather than in one shot

I seem to get the same problem with Throw bugging the biotic kills. Can't really tell why this would happen.

maybe throw only counts if it kills on hit, and not by the after damage for hitting the surface, like walls and floor.

I've gotten the multi-kill one from biotic explosions with the asari adept. It hasn't happened a lot, but it's awesome when it does.
