HIGHLIGHT SPACES TO VIEW SPOILERS IF YOU WISH<
With those copies flying up into atmosphere, it’s almost time for us who don't
want the game spoiled to retreat from BSN, but like most big fans of the
series, I have to go over the entire Internet searching for the most tiny of
details up the upcoming game. Just an update on something’s you may of
overlooked, or need confirming on.
- DLC Character not yet
announced. Clearly not the Prothean; as such a
character would obviously be vital to the story. Perhaps (MAJOR SPOILER
FOLLWING>>>
That squad mate really isn't that crucial. Or it could be the main character of
the recent Mass Effect: Infiltrator (More on that), I'm sure Bioware have
it all under wraps for now until we draw closer to Mass Effect's release date.
-Latest Squad Roster (Warning:
Spoiler Characters may be unconfirmed. Again: SPOILERS BE HERE)
- Virmire Surviour (Ash/Kaiden)
- Garrus (Role other than a squadmate still mysterious, but might be met
on Pavlan guessing from released footage)
-Tali (More on that later)
- Liara (Already confirmed to join Shepard on Mars)
-James Vega (Joins you at the start of course)
- Prothean
- EDI
- DLC Character
If my assumptions of Spoiler Characters not being the DLC Squad mate, that
actually brings us up to a tally of eight characters (Six if you lost your
entire squad in ME2), so all those who lost your squads still get a nice number
of six for an all-round squad. Hurrah.
- Mass Effect: Homeworlds #2
announced, featuring Tali. Reading the blurb, it seemed interesting enough;
implying that a central figure in the Mass Effect universe has defected to
the Reaper/Cerberus/Whatever now and is powerful enough to send in some
assassins. Spike my interest... It also hints that Tali may join Shepard on the
Citadel at the start of the game, and have crucial information for him. This
comic will be released in May; so there is no way to get ahead of the big
surprise revelation there.
-Mass Effect: Infiltrator is
now on the IOS; so yea: mobile game featuring a new guy (Randall Enzo) as he
fights Cerberus. That's all I gleaned from it so far, but if it’s just like
Mass Effect: Galaxy, then we might see Randall team up with Commander Shepard
in Mass Effect 3.
That's all for today, seeing that you obviously know everything else about Mass
Effect 3 so I don't need to go over the general details, though if you have a
question (One that could possibly be answered. I don't work at Bioware, I just
speculate on their forums), don't mind to ask me.
