It will depend on what you have done previously, from a screenshot (the one of the Geth Dreadnought) it looks like the Quarians try to take back their home world and you help them or stop the conflict I guess, maybe even help the geth?

If you didn't finish Legion's loyalty mission then all the Geth will be your enemy.

As with all thing in ME, you can either take a side in the Geth Quarian Conflict, or you can end it and get both allies.

I for one hopes this back fires on you and that the geth heretics code intergrates with the normal geth and they all go evil as i'm hoping not all paragon choices equal instant win, as that would be boring

According to the files on the other part of the forum, you can destroy the Geth, the Quarians or possibly both. How this is achieved is open for debate until the 8th.

It's not going to happen exactly like that, but you won't be disappointed.

I didn't really feel that rewriting them was a paragon action. I know that you got paragon points for doing it, so Bioware felt it was paragon, but I personally felt it was wrong to brainwash the heretics into believing something against their will. I chose to destroy them because that felt more honest to me. As Samara would say, "Sometimes the most brutal path is the only honest one."

Story spoiler :
You have to chose a side either Quarian or Geth in their conflict. The one you choose to help defeat the other will bring you support for the final battle.

It turns out Shepard's adventure was just a side story to the real Geth heroes who went around fixing the galaxy.

Didn't see any variable would refer to both Geth and Quarian being alive and make somekind of truce. It will be a fight to total extermination (or near) from what i've seen. I would have tought at first the Quarian/Geth conflict would have been resolve somewhat like the Dalish/Werewolf in Dragon Age : Origins.

Update your source. Apparently not every leak site has the whole of it.

You're very mistaken; you can most certainly have both.

I will rage so hard if you won't be able to get both on your side. I've talked extensively to Legion in ME2 and know his side of the story and the details of the geth on the Quarian world so I really won't be able to choose between the two if it so happens :<

The fact that Tali is my LI won't help :P

The geth are not evil so they don't deserve to be wiped out. Just like the Rachni, they were indoctrinated. If what legion says is true and they are open to peace then it seems odd that the Qaurians would not choose the peaceful path especially if you didn't show tali's data and told the fleet to make peace with the geth.

I will be very upset if this ends up like Virmire where you have to kill someone. But instead this time you exterminate an entire species.

Meh. I will be disappointed if you can have some 'everyone wins' option to resolving this conflict.
Then again, seeing as what direction Bioware's been going, you probably will.

I for once will be keeping far away from those paragon/renegade options in such occasions.
I still remember how in ME2, you could completely ruin the outcome of Talis loyalty mission by bypassing the awesome dilemma of having to choose between her exiled and humiliated.
It's such hard decisions that make you love rpgs.

But I guess Bioware also has to carter to all the american kids who will cry, least they have their happy endings.

its all speculation of course, as leaked content very well might not represent the full game. i personally think it would suck to go trough the trouble of talking to every admiral for their viewpoints, express opinions that peace is the right choice. shove the evidence under the rug and telling the admirals not to go to war with the geth if the Quarians decide to go to war anyway.

if i have to pick, ill propably go for the geth. the quarians tried to wipe them out once, they obviously didnt listened to what my shepard had to say and so i have some more reasons.
