I recently found out my PC had to be reformatted, to prepare for this I backed up my ME1 and 2 saves. I was wondering if there would be any problems if I used an ME2 save file that was imported from ME1 but not have ME1 itself installed?

I don't have the ME1 cd with me at the moment and I was hoping I could get to finishing my preferred ME2 playthrough before ME3 was released.

You don't need to have ME1 installed to get the saved data to work.
