So I started a new game on hard with a rogue city elf. The first few
times I leveled, everything seemed normal. Suddenly, though (level 5, I
think?) I got zero attribute points when I leveled. The, the following
level, I got 6. Is this a bug? It seems to be happeneing again...

What you think was level 5 wasn't a level. At the Joining, you're given a free talent/spell point. This initiates the level-up system, but does not give you a level.



There are a few ways to get 6 points. Maybe you used the Tome from pre-order around that time. Maybe you gained two levels at once from the Ogre.

If your using the expanded inventory mod then I think you and I have the same problem, the solution is to save and then disable the mod, your inventory should still be expanded afterward.

The Elvish Boots mod causes this problem too.

Well, one of them. The AND002 (or whatever) one has never given me a problem.
