It's not very easy to describe, but every three or four matches my character glitches and starts to lose her grip on the ground, so to speak. I take three steps forward, then get teleported about five feet up in the air, fall down, take a few more steps, get teleported a little higher up, and so on. Eventually I get teleported really high and start falling through the level geometry. Dying and respawning does not fix it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Can a Biodev soothe my pain?

Yes I've experienced this. I don't know how to fix it. I think BioWare should patch this.

Usually happens to me when the host for whatever reason thinks their dial up is enough to hold up the game. Other than that there's more gamebreaking bugs than that. Like for example not being able to do damage to anything. Happens to me every single game and the only way to fix it is to get downed.

This.

What class, what map, what wave? Do you think it was lag related or something else? Did you see your life and/or shields yo-yo too? Could you take cover or was you avatar totally braindead? How long from start to being downed?

In my case, it happend only once, human soldier, slums map, wave 2. I don't think it was lag related because it lasted at least 90 seconds. Avatar was totally braindead, no movement, no aiming, no cover, not even a drop animation (I was standing up dropped), and only fixed on being rezzed.

Happens a lot to me but that's probably a result of charging from cover, otherwise it's probably a poor connection and the game's way of showing lag.

I noticed this yesterday on xbox! One of my fellow squaddies, a vanguard, was having a terrible time with this for the entire time they played. It was like they would take a few steps and start to sink. I saw it when my character went down and we go to observation mode. He/she deserves kudos for sticking it out and not abandoning us.

This happened to me yesterday for the first time, and indeed lag was very bad. I was also a Vanguard at the time. Was not able to fix it using Charge.

The wave was a timed event (kill high priority targets), but that may not be relevant. The rest of the team died and could watch me stand there waaaaay below the level, waiting for the timer to run out.

I've been floated into the air like that once with my Asari Adept. She ended up trying to activate one of those beacons dealies and during a floating "spasm" a baddie chucked a grenade at me and the resulting force of the blast threw me OFF THE NOVERIA battleground and into the scenery where I fell FOREVER... err... or at least until the rest of my team failed to finish the download thing in the last of the 5 minutes.

Must be the host having problems because I got a highspeed internet connection. That said, I have had it sometimes too, ... it really kills your game as it tends to leave you wide open to be shot at the whole time left. If things go worse, you can't even move any faster than a slow walk, no matter what you do, meaning you're not only in the open, but also a sitting duck.

Good thing I play Vanguard mostly, that means Charge gives me at least a doable amount of mobility and durability to not be a chunk of lead on the team or at least less so.

I've gotten "stuck" once so far but it sounds like I've never seen your particular issue. My guess is you're not on the XBox 360.
