Hacking just one of the points should grant you extra exp, too many people rush off to just rake up kills and if doing one gave points it'd give balance to those out of action but still taking part. If it does it should become visible, a pop up like Assist + 500 or something in game to encourage others a bit more.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong ), you get credits for hacking the four objectives in a quicker time frame. But all the kills are XP, and they will all be there when the hacking is over. And becasue all credits and XP are shared, it makes NO SENSE for people to go out and try and rack up kills instead of assisting with the hacks to get the max credits. Sometimes my Vanguard gets distracted because I'm charging to stay alive and end up too far away to get to the hack, but beyond that one instance for the one class, everyone should be focussing on the hacks. The kills will still be there when you are done.

You can't ask every class to just rush to the objective through enemies without cleaning the way. That's something that I can do - and that I actually do - on my Salarian Infiltrator, I can always cloak and energy drain if something goes wrong but I do a little of clean up on the other classes I play.

Besides you are still drawing the attention of the enemies away from the target, this is still assisting whoever is working on that objective.

Melee should be better rewarded, and if not better, there should be a big bonus somewhere around 50 kills.

There should be co-op bonuses, like performing a power combo with another person (cryoblast and such things), bonuses for freezing the enemy for someone else - not only an assist.

There also could be a bonus for finishing a wave on your own when everyone else has fallen

Oh yeah, I'm not saying all players need to run in and get to the hacking. What I mean is that they should at least focus on it. I'm talking about situations where the first station to hack is in the bottom of the room in the white base, but my Krogan team mate is killing engineers in the landing zone . What is he doing? Now, if we are hacking a computer in the catwalk above the landing zone, then by all means, do what you do you crazy Krogan :D.

But more specifically it drives me crazy when we have to hold the circle position for a while. I try hard to stay in it even as a Vanguard. I leave it here and there,  but only for a short range charge and I come right back (and only with good reason, like I need ammo or a squad of Guardians is closing in). But then I see team mates either on the other side of the map or even just out a bit from the circle. What are they doing? They're costing the whole team XP in that case, because you get more XP for having more people in the circle.

Popping the head off of a Nemesis or a Phantom should merit a hefty XP reward as well.

Heavy melee kill a Phantom. I did it before on almost dead Phantom, felt kinda cool, until a Nemesis killed me right after....
