Anyway, that aside... sometime back, I heard that once you complete the third installment, ME3, you get a new mode which allows you to play the whole trilogy with the updated graphics and improved combat system of ME3, etc.
Is this still happening?

That was never happening. The reason nobody understood what you said is because that idea is a bit ludicrous.
How is it ludicrous? This is what the Devs stated during one of the interviews way back. I wanted to know if it was still happening.

I would like to see a citation. The only benefit of the doubt I'm capable of on this topic is that you completely misunderstood them.

I'm calling shenanigans to the idea that the devs ever stated what you did. The entire concept goes beyond reason.

It was like a year or so ago. I just remember being excited, because after playing ME2, and then trying to replay ME1, the combat was less satisfying. And then I heard they were going to have the whole series remastered for New Game Plus, and life was good.
I avoided the forums mostly, since. And was just curious about news on it.

Possibility wise, that is the dumbest thing I ever heard, do you know how long that would keep this game waiting? It took long enough to do this with Halo CEA but 2 other games? Not only that, but Mass Effect games which are far more massive then Halo? You've got to be kidding me. Where ever you got that information from, I'm going to have to say you've been dooped. The amount of disc that would be needed for this would just be outrageous.

one, how would all 3 games with updated graphics fit on one disk? considering me2 was 2 disks and two they never stated this, they said the new game plus will be a bit of how it was in me 1 and in me 2
Why are you asking me? It was their idea. Maybe they were going to make it DLC. All I know is that's what I heard. It was a year or so ago, so I don't remember where I got the info. But it was definitely from Bioware themselves.

no you heard wrong, you misunderstood, you thought them saying a mix of me1 new game plus and me 2 new game plus meant the games were updated and put on the ONE disk of ME3, cause it all fits of course.ziloe wrote...

Not sure if Troll, probably is
Why do people assume that because someone asks a question that you think isn't possible, that they're automatically a troll?
Disks can carry a lot of info. Who are they to say that they couldn't cut down the space it would take. They've done it for larger games too. Skyrim comes to mind. Witcher 2 is bigger than Skyrim.
