Yep. There is no way to discuss this rationally when OP continues to maintain a fiction.
Are you blind? Have you not read a single of the latest things I've stated. All I said at this point was that it was ridiculous how people can't even admit that it's a cool idea, despite the costs.
And yet, here I am being attacked, all because you people can't read!

I've yet to see a single post where you admit that you were mistaken. Also, now who's the one being rude.

Where is this interview, Ziloe? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
I think what you aren't understanding are the technical obstacles that would prevent Bioware from simply updating the graphics and totally changing the combat system of two enormous games released years ago on completely different engines.
I don't see it being impossible at all. They would just need to improve textures and alter animations and combat mechanics. They've done this a dozen times for smaller games such as Lunar Star Story. So why not this too?
And again, that's why I suggested it was maybe DLC, or that they scrapped it because it wasn't feasible.
anyone who has even the slightest bit of knowledge in the area if game development knows that a feature like this is not feasible. and announcing something like this in an interview or article makes even less sense. because why would you announce something that from the get go you know isnt going to make it into the final game, and would take to long to do as DLC
even if it was DLC they wouldnt give it away for free with a full copy of ME3, especialy because after the release of ME3 the interest in the first 2 games is renewed thus they get new sales for those titles.
EA would be stupid if they did this. and they also know that there is enoegh interest in the ME franchise that if they were to remake ME 1 and 2 people would be more than happy to put money down for it.
You've probably just misunderstood or are misremembering.

Geez, it's not enough that all the people posting here is telling you it's wrong and it never was stated at all?
You still go on your crusade for the all mighty one who wrote down that it would indeed happen!![]()

Crusade? Are you blind? Can you guys not read what I've stated as of most recently, what with saying maybe they scrapped the idea? Or even commenting on the fact that this might be a cool idea, which no one has done.
Aside from maybe a couple of people, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Attacking me because I perhaps made a mistake? And in spite of noting that I understand people are hesitant because I don't have documents of proof, people still attack me. It's disgusting. It's a game, and I thought it was awesome when I heard about it and wanted to know if it was still implemented. A simple, no I don't think so, but it would be cool would have sufficed. But instead you all just attacked me as though I was some troll, and called me names. Be ashamed of yourselves. You're terrible people, and I'm sorry I even bothered trying to talk to you guys, when I already knew from the DA forums that you guys are awful to talk to, because you take everything so literally.

I have still not attacked you. I've been trying, very patiently I might add, to explain this to you.
You didn't hear about it. It didn't happen. It wasn't said.
You refuse to accept that. So no one can really talk to you about this seriously, because your premise is faulty.
And at this point in the thread, the only one I see being rude is you.

First, don't take evryhting so bloody personal.
Secound, there was one post i saw one person calling you mental. Other then that i can't really see anything insulting (Even that isen't -that- great of an insult..)
Third, if you want people to take you seriously in any way shape or form right now it's not the right way to go and keep on claiming that you saw it and therefore it's right.
And yes, it would be a cool idea yes. But it's not going to happen right now and bioware or anyone in the company has not stated that it would indeed happen.
Oh yes, and at the moment it's you who is being aggresive towards others. Not the other way around don't play the victim if you are going to go that way. Sir.

As OP, I read every single post. I see what you guys say. Most of the time, you guys see a title of a topic, and go from there, not even bothering to read its actual contents before shouting your opinion.
And again, clearly you didn't read, because I didn't say you. I said aside from a couple people...

In regards as to whether I would like to see it happen... then maybe yes on the next gen systems. However it is uneconomical to spend £££££££££ on what would either be at least 3 more disks in the box or over 10gb in downloading data at the current time (remembering that people dislike paying for expensive dlc)

I think everyone read your topic. Because there would be no reason to respond if they didn't. And when they read they were understantably skeptical. If your first reponse to being told you were mistaken was "Oh, I guess I misunderstood what I read", then all the argument would have ended there.
But that's not what happened. You acted shocked yourself, as though everyone else should know about this thing only you heard. And then you told us that Bioware said it, and we shouldn't blame you for that. But they didn't. So who else can we respond to but you.

While it would be an interesting idea, I can probably state with some certainty that we wouldn't be getting ME3 for another two or three years, as they would have to completely redo ME and ME2 for this to work, so you would be looking at... I don't even want to think about the work that would go into it. So while I believe you believe you saw this, I also believe it didn't happen. Sorry.
It happened, though, obviously the article was wrong. If you know an article is wrong, you discount it, right? I on the other hand did not frequent the forums for sometime, so even if someone talked about it months ago and it was proven false, i wouldn't have known, yes?
Nevertheless, thank you for at least agreeing upon the idea being interesting.

It didn't happen. You are the one who is wrong. There is no article.

Yes, against all of you Geth, every one of you inside every one of you. That's like a thousand, right?
Seriously though, I mean this forum. Other forums I've been on, people were a lot cooler to deal with. This place, people take everything so seriously. If you see a mistake, you latch onto it, and just claim the guy is outright wrong, without even looking at it from any other perspective. There are plenty of other options. Maybe it was going to be implemented, but was proven not cost effective. Maybe the article was wrong? Maybe the writer was mislead? Maybe it's not a reliable source? But no, you guys immediately go for the throat. No, you're wrong, you say. We all know Bioware has made promises that didn't end up happening, so who's to say they didn't boast too far? They did this with DA2 as well, saying how great and innovative it was going to be, and then all we saw were cut and paste dungeons.
