I reinstalled steam in the secondary hard drive D (because the primary has too little memory), I did re-download Mass Effect 2 and it worked perfectly. but I installed the DLC "Normandy crash site", and now when I try to open the game: "The game is currently unavailable (Application running)."
why!?!?!  :crying:

verify the cache

right click on game >properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache
