I'd be a human who ran a business making modern guns styled like old ones. For example, take an AK-47, put the block it uses for ammo in the magazine, and have the thermal clips come out of the ejection port. There's got to be a market for that.

Turian Biotic because they don't ever make an appearance and they should. Drell and Krogan biotics seem more unusual but they do appear in Mass Effect. So should Turian biotics.

I don't know what job I'd have, but I'd want to live on the Citadel (assuming it's still standing after all of this Reaper business). It's beautiful, central and you can experience many different cultures without a lot of travel.
Turian was my initial thought for my species because they're my favorites, but after thinking about it I really would not fit into a highly military culture at all.
I think my choice would actually be asari in spite of them being my least favorite species in the series. In terms of writing I can't stand them, but I'm not going to pretend I wouldn't like to be awesome at everything and live nearly forever and have everyone love me. Those blue babes got a pretty sweet deal.
