I'm sure Ashley's reaction to Tali will be "Ew you 'manced an alien? WTF."

Ya but when you are dead for 2 years and you come back to life and all she does is give you a hug and said I loved you and then sends you a email saying a poem. If she really loved you she would of went with you no matter who you are working for.
She also leaves you hanging, left to swim with the Cerbie-head sharks with only Garrus watching your back at the time. Even if you 'manced her. Tali... doesn't. And she has even more reason to be antipathetic to Cerberus than Ash.

I am just happy no one is saying to romance jack.
Compared to the Ash and Tali romances Jack's is actually pretty good. Not a huge fan of her character design, but she is one of the only ME2 romances that did not feel rushed and overly contrived to me.
I like Tali's romance from Tali's point of view, as it is certainly possible that she has been crushing on Shep since they first met. Just not a huge fan of it from Shep's point of view as it feels like he is taking advantage of her youth and inexperience a little bit. Besides, that creepy smile of his from the second (I think) love talk is just, well, creepy. It's amost as bad as what happens to FemSheps face during the Jacob romance.
Ashley has never really been a character I particularly enjoy. Her family background is good, and certainly explains her racist like disposition but I just can't get past that. Have nothing against her religious beliefs per say, but they do jare a little bit with how she greets you on Horizon.

Ashley/Miranda is the way to go just to see how it plays out in ME3. I imagine it will be epic.

Yeah, well you'll be surprised.

IMHO,Tali has a more interesting romance...being out of the people you can romance, she seems to care more and is more interesting.Ashley...is xenophobic and even worse...religious.
Ah yes" religion." That thing you despise an decide to hate and troll internet boards about. We have dissmissed that claim.
Though thank you for just saying religious. I had to explain to my friend how she was more likely to be any Abrahamic or even Sikh or any other number of religions than just Christian. But yet alot of people think religious=Christian.

If you think about it ash would save herself before saving you unlike tali.
Wrong.
Ashley's the one squad member who rushes in head first against the odds. She doesn't fear death. just look at ME1 when she willingly wanted to give her life for the mission.
Would Ashley risk your life to save the many? Yes.
Would Tali risk your life to save her people? Yes.

Actually with Shepard's canonical power of charsima...but even with that the only people I see dying for Shepard are Samara, Thane, Miranda (if romanced) Jack (if romanced), Liara, Garrus and Tali (if romanced).
Samara would probably only save a paragon Shepard though.
Risking yourself for the mission is a very different thing then risking yourself for one person.

Same and vice versa.
Who they dislike is more about personality then race.

Ok then who do you think has the best personality tali or ashley.
Go for Tali, if you want that cute fan girl gush stuff. And romance that doesn't make sense.
Go for Ashley if you want a woman who doesn't fall at your feet.
That's for you to decide on mate. Why only Tali or Ashley though? Sounds like you should be picking Liara.

Without any given context, why the hell would anyone kill himself/herself for [insert race]?Darkerror wrote...

Me? Tali. She stays by Sheps side through thick and thin and trusts him/her implictly. Yes for some that's a turn off but I think it's a good attribute in a romantic partner.
She's not so trusting that she goes along with Shepard without saying something (in private) but she trusts him enough to think he's not a complete idiot.
Ash? Well I wasn't fond of her to begin with (she's virmired in most of my games) and when she called my Shep a traitor and turned her back on him that was pretty much the death of that romance.
He doesn't want her to fall at his feet by any means but hell she doesn't even try to help him. She just says her piece and bounces.
You think your lover is being manipulated by a terrorist organization and you don't even try to convince him to come with you to safety? Lolwut?

Screw insert race I wouldn't kill myself for another human in most circumstances.

When fighting alongside Cpt. Kirrahe, imagine he would get pinned down and face certain death unless Ash saves him, wouldn't you think she'd try to save him?Darkerror wrote...

If the person in question is important enough in her eyes, I think she'd save said person regardless of he or she's an alien.
