 Hi all,
For me the silver difficult is too much hard, is impossible to run under a cover that cerberus bring down in 0.1 sec the shield and kill. Isn't gold is silver, and i repeat is very  impossible to run under a cover or run away...
would have to change the level or accuracy of the enemies

Silver is fine. Change your tactics if they're not working, stay alert, stick with your team. And remember, practice makes perfect. :]

Then play bronze.

Problem solved.

Silvers fine, in fact I'm almost worried gold is too easy, made it to wave 9 the second time i attempted it, in a 4 man team where me and the other infiltrator were doing most of the work. Just now i joined a silver at level 1, (forgot to check the difficulty) and i was doing fine up until wave 7, thanks to a good team, and some common sense.

just hopped into a random lobby last night and the host looked at our N7 levels (30-50 with one newb), char levels 10-16 iirc... he switched from bronze to silver. it wasn't actually that much harder, just more fast paced, and we lasted until the 9th wave, and couldve pushed on if someone hadnt made a mistake and died in a room with an atlas, a phantom and a turret.

stasis is essential, especially when the phantom comes out

I played my first silver runs last night. We lasted out one of the three runs. It's hard, but not impossible. We'll all get there :)

With a good team of 3 plus at least one person that isn't as good but is trying [and is level 15+ depending on class] Silver is dooable.

I've only tried Silver twice but it was with really good teams and we made it both times. Once I didn't realize we changed difficulty and I was wondering "why did I die so quickly"?? .... I suspect you'll adjust fine though.

Note: IMHO it's important the the players either be REALLY good OR you need to have a real good mix of powers & players to be successful. Honestly I doubt I'd even try silver unless I had at least one player with Stasis AND one with Singularity. Anyone else with Singularity, Stasis, Tac Cloak, Overload, etc. would probably prove quite useful.

The most important part is that you play as a team, find where the enemy is coming from, have some people not looking for glory and willing to cover flanks, soomeone scout for phantoms, etc.

This. Silver is like the right balance for difficulty. I think you just need to find the right team for you and work your characters abilities to help develop a strategy. Its proven to be quite refreshing. :o

I would love to play on Silver, but most of the time people leave before match starts, or I'm stuck with level 1's. Hehe.

If Silver is too difficult for you, then play on Bronze. It takes more than blindly shooting to reach victory in Silver, and it's honestly not that hard if you're paying attention.

Yep, but need a team and sadly most of my friends aren't playing at same time as I am.

Note: About Phantoms Stasis is great and required as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise pray an Infiltrator can headshot her, she stays still long enough for a rocket, you can punch through shields and hit her with a AOE skill, etc.

If you did that as a L1 [Human?] Soldier then you're better than I am.  With Infiltrators, Biotics of various flavors, etc. it's pretty impressive for a Soldier to come in second IMHO.

Edit:  BTW I unlocked Asari Adept with my first ever purchase ...  Oddly I still haven't played with her yet ...

Agreed Stasis is much, much, MUCH welcome on a Phantom, but a capable Vanguard can take those pesky buggers out easily without it, too. =)

I've beat Silver countless times and made it through wave 7 of Gold without knowing anyone on my team and without anyone having a mic.

It's not hard. There is such thing as people just not being proficient at a game.

@M4ster: How many players are on your team? What is your character's current level? Do you communicate with your teammates/play with them enough to understand each other's strategies and playstyles? Is your team balanced, or is everybody playing the same class?

Silver is perfectly playable with the right team, so long as everybody knows what they're doing. Things get dicey towards the end waves, sure, but it's not impossible.

Gold, on the other hand... lol nope.

I think Silver is fine if you have 3 or more people, stasis is pretty useful but not essential. 2 or less players requires stasis though.

A lot of luck of the draw atm anyway. In any given game you might get people who are just trying out a random Xbox Live demo that comes with free Gold access. Silver IS hard for new players with no Mass Effect experience. Might want to wait until the game is actually out before a consensus on difficulty is attempted.

If ur a good FPS player you can do much damage with weapons aswell.
Always go for the head , whatever weapon you got - sniper is actually OKAY for bodyshot too if enemy is dancing around and hard to it.

KNOW YOUR POWERS and when to use them, so many people are so darn stupid and forget to use them.
I use only ONE weapon with all classes (not soldier ofc) and spam my powers whenever I can.

believe me - I've soloed Silver!
