you guys are a bunch of retards or liars. Silver is not easy and Gold is most certainly not. I've been playing this damn game since release and I get 1st place consistently every time. Don't give me this bull about "change tactics, stick with your team". You show me a krogan sentinel that gets shot 3 times on silver difficulty and goes down and I'll show you a fairy that flies out of a krogan ass. You're full of it. Silver is hard as **** and unbalanced now, I don't know what they've done but they need to put it back the way it was.

You get 1st place consistently....on Bronze?

Are you speccing your Krogan Sentinel for max DR on your Tech Armor? Are you talking about getting shot by Centurions or by Atlases?

Silver is, in my mind and by the opinions of most players, the most balanced difficulty. Bronze is ez-mode for beginners, Silver is where the game comes into its own. Gold is (supposed to be) the challenge difficulty.

Until 2 nights ago I got 1st place consistently on bronze and silver. It was an overnight change, everything went all to hell and all of the sudden damage taken went through the roof. I have my sentinel spec'd as melee/dr. Everything was fine until 2 nights ago.

Lol if you think Silver is too hard, I can't wait to see your response when you try Gold...it's a lot harder...and by harder I mean not that hard after only playing Gold for months now...just keep practicing. Improving reflex time is a really big thing. Keep at it!

Silver too hard, huh? Hm...add me on Origin. My name is the same as on here. I don't use the krotinel, but I'll show you a solo with some other character I know better. After that, let's try out Gold. You'll have more fun earning 2x the credits for the same amount of time and effort

Can someone seriously say to me they haven't noticed a significant difficulty increase in the past few days? I mean seriously I have played this on gold before and for me, playing on silver tonight felt like playing gold. It apparently did for 2 of the teams I paired up with as well because that's all I heard. " dude I know it says silver but I think its on gold" things changed quick.

Oh yeah...Gold difficulty actually did get stealth-spiked recently, for the Geth, at least. Yeah I don't know how or when, but the Geth are significantly harder since about 2 weeks ago, or something. A lot of people have noticed it. Proooobably a response to FBWGG....

I think the simple answer is to ask for friends here to take you on a few runs, if you were xbox I would be happy to, it all depends on the team, skill, weapon etc. I have enough friends that we can take, and often do two newer people, there are some basics in game play that if followed it's all good and can be a cake walk to a certain extent.

No this wasn't in the past 2 weeks, this is in the past day or so. Perhaps it's localised, I don't know. Silver used to be a lot of fun until yesterday or the day before. I haven't tried gold since I've noticed the difficulty increase, been afraid to.

Its only hard when you play with incompetent people or people with crappy common weapons. Last night I was put into a squad of people that didn't take cover, who tried to melee kill Geth Primes and with a dude who used both Cobra missiles in the second round. I should just start leaving groups like this to avoid wasting my time.

Ya know mate, I thought the exact same thing to myself last night. 4 games on silver, 2 games finished on wave 5, one on wave 6 and 1 on wave 8. I half blamed the squad I was with because everytime I looked I had to revive someone if an enemy didn't stamp on them because I noticed they do this a lot faster now. Maybe they did stealth op the enemy which is BS if they did. So much for making a fun game for people if so.  Listen to the few who find this game easy and screw all the little guys who don't have as much time to put in this game.

Lets make the community think we made classes more powerful but lets counter balance those changes by making enemies stronger too.

I use my Krogan sentinel on silver to level up the sentinel class with is my worse class by far and is only hard if you think you are god and nothing will kill you, I go for tankyness and high punch weapons and I Never go down, besides Geth stunlocks

The only thing that has been harder in the last few weeks are the Geth, they buffed Geth so much that their cheapness is legendary

For me, Silver is quite easy, even with a lvl1 character. In fact, Krogan Sentinel is lately my main silver character, and I can go almost full "berserker" and hardly get down once or twice in a whole game.

I would advice you to get better and don't insult people for knowing how to play.

+1 for the arrogance of most the gold players here on bsn. For some Silver is difficult, and yes it has gotten a bit harder.

It helps with a good group of players, which is becoming rarer these days on Silver for whatever reason. Don't worry Gold players complain about bad players hopping into their gold games making things bad for them as well but all of them can solo silver with level 1's so they are elite.

If you manage to find some decent people to play with on a consistent basis I would recommend that, the legion would probably be a good place to go if you don't have enough friends that play the game.

If you are one of those terrible people that die at the start of every wave, plz go to bronze or leech in goddamn bronze not silver.

Silver felt nigh impossible when I first ventured into it. Every match required equipment and more consumables than I'd care to admit. You get used to it. You sort of subconsciously remember where enemies spawn, what to expect in each wave, working objective strategies, etc. And practice makes perfect - your aiming, reactions, and everything else will improve with time until silver becomes your new casual.

Hey, you think Silver has been getting bad players? Gold is getting swamped with unprepared idiots rocking Claymore I and Geth Plasma Rifle III on a Quarian Engineer or more stupid, Hurricane I + ULMaterials and Saber I on a Phoenix Adept. "I will never die with this build", they say. Bulls*** I say.

Dude you've got all Rare weapons and mods maxed along with some great gear in your collection. Of course its a walk in the park for you. Character level means squat when you have hard hitting weapons. Hell even using a level 2 crusader with a level 1 character I can just take cover and kill most things that come at me.

Dude you've got all Rare weapons and mods maxed along with some great gear in your collection. Of course its a walk in the park for you.

It's pretty easy to max rares when you play and win frequently. (basically, not sucking at the game)

How do you think he got those weapons anyway?

You don't need rare (gold) weapons all that much, there are plenty of great, often overlooked, weapons in lower grades. And those are relatively easy to max out (veteran packs), same applies to the uncommon gear.

Big changes with difficulty levels are increased enemy hitpoints (& damage), shieldgating differences and that enemy armor actually has an effect to weapons. In addition to the changes in the numbers and types of enemies encountered per wave of course.

I'm not a pro, but silver is easy.
The gap with gold is too much, but it's only because the game lost balances with nerfs and buffs.
Gold gets harder weekly
