Getting class unlocks from packages even after they are level 20 and have full customization options open.  Why?

Example:  Level 20 Vanguard female with everything unlocked; I buy a veteran pack and get a Vanguard female card...  seems like a waste.

In the main game, you can 'promote' a character to help your single player ending, which will reset the character's level. That's what the cards are for.

Also customization, if you haven't already gotten all of that before now.

Yeah, same here, it's a waste even with the promote fuction, I still got the human variant of each classe locked and I can't get the the Krogan Sentinel, the Asari Vanrguard and the Drell adept/vanguard. Instead I keep getting cards of classes already maxed out with all customizations open...

 keep getting them for my human adept, infiltrator, and engineers, could be worse though, you could unlock weapon upgrades that you don't want while all your friends unlock revenants widows and claymores:?

Happens with my sentinel as well. There are three male sentinels and one female, and all I keep getting are female human sentinels. Yes, I've come to love the class, but c'mon! I wanna play something that's my actual gender. At least gimme something different, or some more Cobra Missiles. Can never have too many of those.

I'm hoping instead of a random general all purpose package they could add something like "Soldier package" "Infiltrator package" etc.
