 I read on the multiplayer features that each character in MP levels up seperately, not by class. Verificstion plz devs.

Nah, from what I can tell, the whole class levels up as a group, at least in the demo. Not sure if it'll be different in the full game, but right now the level is listed next to the full class, not the individual characters.

strange as it said in the Bioware blog with Jesse Houston and he said characters levelled up independently. :/

Again, might just be a simplification for the demo. There are a number of things which appear to be unavailable for the demo, so they might just be waiting to implement it for the full game.

Different classes level up independently of each other but all your toons of a particular class use the same exp bar and level up together.

My Salarian infiltrator is level 1, yet my human one is level 12 so... no?

If you have a level 20 soldier, buy a veteran pack and unlock another soldier, he/she would start at level 20.

It looks like to me that the classes level up together, also other classes level up a bit as you play. My Infiltrator is a level 5 and my Sentinal is a level 4, even though I have only played as an Engineer.
