xp are distributed for your team´s overall performance.

What he means is that there is no XP shown when you kill an engineer as opposed to every other enemy. Though I don't know if that means that there is no reward (probably a bug) or if it's simply not shown in the UI (definitely a bug).
Either way, I think it's a bug.

if that is a problem to you... points are not displayed on mabe 30-40% percent of your kills. but you surely get them. try your rocket luncher for example. or simply kill many cerbs in a few secs.
