well, i have an issue with my DAupdater too, not to mention anything that deals with mods, not even DAmodder is working. as far as i know, i try to start it, then a minute or so after clicking it, it crashes, no explination, not a single clue.

Frostgroove's fix worked for me too. Problem isn't the updater, it's the encoding format for the AddIns.xml file. Easy fix.

yes i know a POSSIBLE fix. If you put the DAupdater on your desk-top by MOVING it you need to put it back in binship ship. next right click it and select "CREATE SHORTCUT". move the NEW shortcut to the desk-top and try clicking on that . this fixed it for me... so i hope it helps you!
