Quick question:  Does a biotic ability which causes a biotic explosion process before the explosion damage?  And do debuffs from biotic powers affect explosion damage?

I ask because I habitually use warp to detonate biotics, but since it has a debuff, it occurs it may do more damage to use warp first, then the other ability to set it off.  But if it processes before the explosion, it wouldn't matter.

Warping first, then using an ability like Throw and Shockwave (I believe, don't play a class with both Shockwave and Warp) will cause a Biotic Detonation. This will allow you to "control" when and where you Biotic Explode your target somewhat more, since you can take advantage of the Debuff that comes with Warp for as long as you want and then chuck away.

The only way to affect the damage from the explosion is to take the power upgrade perks that say they improve damage and force of biotic combos/explosion, or power damage improvements in general from power perks or gear, as far as I know.

But does the debuff affect the explosion damage? For example, a leveled up Stasis has a 15% damage increase on the targets. If I detonate that stasis, does the 15% damage also effect the explosion? If so, is that always the case, or only if I stasis then detonate with something else, versus using stasis to detonate?
