Katana's biggest problem is that it's not usualy oneshot kill. It does have power, but Scimitar shoots faster so for me it has higher time to kill.

Mattock with scope is my favourite weapon in the demo. When you got a fast finger it's really nice gun to use.

Widow and Phalanx are also good weapons that I like to use...

Mattock is probably one of the best weapons in the game for any class, its light with amazing accuracy and decent ammo capacity

So... who is the best Widow class? because I have the gun, but don't know who to use it with, soldier or Infiltrator.

My weapon of choice is definitely scoped Carnifex. Reliable.
But I guess I'd give anything for my favorite ME weapon... the Revenant.

So far my avenger is best. Light, accurate, good amount of ammo, and with my accuracy and clip size upgrades makes it very reliable..."old Jesse" lol shout out to Zaeed!

Yeah I got it in a Veteran's pack. -> pic Haven't played with it much but it's pretty powerful.

Viper, why do I see everyone using herp a derp widow rifle?....... GREAAAATTTTTTT good job there so while your doing those one shots, il just kill 5 guys in the mean time gotta love that GOLD sniper rifle medal YOU WILL NEVER GET SINCE YOUR TO BUSY RELOADING!

and the one thing that rages me most about the heavy rifle users, WHEN THEY MISS A GUARDIAN uhhhhh knockback the dame sheild slit gee thanks iv already hit him ONCE just need the 2nd shot to make his head pop, but noooo you have to make him flail across the map like some invinsable sheild waving maniac.

go on silver/gold try the viper, spray the crap dont take your time just pop a shot everytime you THINK there heads in the crosshairs you will be more mobile and more usefull than anyone useing a widow will be.... especialy if your turian sentinal with overload, gets the job done on EVERYTHING bar an atlas, you have the Phalanx for that

Salarian Infiltrator hands down.  +85% cooldown with Widow I, or +120% cooldown with a Widow X! (I don't have a Widow X, but I ran the numbers)

Currently i like the avenger over the mattock; mattock seems weaker than the version from mass effect 2. Avenger so far is an all around better weapon. Basically Avenver >Mattock. My opinion based on many hours of ME2's guns compared to ME3's versions

I personally love the M-300 Claymore, even more so than when it was available in ME2

With the +50% accuracy barrel, +25% damage mod, and good aim, its devastating on Silver. Even at medium-ranged distances, you can pull off a one-hit kill head shot on anything (besides Atlas' and Phantoms).

The Tempest is very viable now. Has 90 round mag with 420 rounds and when maxed out and up against cover it's pretty accurate.

Unfortunately I don't find shotguns fun to use anymore despite how powerful they are. Don't like the circular reticule.

Surprisingly the Avenger. They tightened the spread a bit between games so its better from range. Its just such a workhorse.
