Just wondering if it would be possible to implement some kind of a rank requirement in order to create or join a silver or gold game. Joining silver and gold lobbies with level ones, etc, is a bit frustrating.

i agree. i havent been able to find one good team for silver. and i wanna see how my new asari adept works in there.

I've done silver with two level 5. I also leveled my salarian from 4 to 13 playing on silver. It's not the level, it's the players.

Yeah best Combo : Asari Adept and The Crux pistol Scoped and damage plus. Run and bubble pathing of the evil AI, then head shot, Rinse and repeat. Higher levels Claymore works too.

Yeah we are not talking about Level characters we are talking about all the new players (rank 1 - 25) No gear required to support the other class. They just get killed doing stupid things like Meleeing on a silver and gold before weaking or stand firing at a turrent when exposed to the gun.

They played Pinnicale Station and think they can finish it with level 1 weapons and

Most of the time people don' teven know they are in silver or gold because the default difficulty for quick match is "any."

Thats the real problem. It should be set to Bronze by default.

That works pretty well if the rest of your team is pulling their weight.

Silver- Character level of 10+ (using a character lower will make it so the countdown won't start.)

Gold- Character level of 15+ (same as Silver, just higher level requirement)

Won't apply to private matches.

Considering quick match defaults to "Any rank." I think the easiest way would be to change it so that the default quick match defaults to bronze. That and if you try and go to Silver/Gold have it locked and say like "Requires Character level 10" so you can't even play silver even if you're level 20 with all classes but one, and you decide to level up that final character.

Sure, it would get old pretty fast once you have max level weapons and mods and all that, but I suppose that's what private matches are for.

This is so frustrating, I've spent 20 minutes trying to get into a silver game, I join up with quick match and the leader is a rank 3. No point and don't think we can boot the leader anyway, as it'll just quick us all off (switching hosts never works)

Also joined 4 in a row where there 2 other adepts, so left and switched to VG so not to lose my quick-keys, join another quick match...2 more vanguards..

Haven't tried gold yet, but I only play silver when I have friends online. Last night was the first time I didn't play because I kept joining silver rooms that had level 1-5 players. Bronze is too easy, so I'm just gonna stick to silver till I have a competent squad to try gold,

this. and this is just plain stupid. its so annoying, sometimes I have to back out of 10-20 lobbies immediately because one or two players are below rank 5.

Yeah it's annoying as hell. Sometimes it take like 20 minutes to find good team. Sometimes even with players above lvl 10 it's hard to complete the challenge. I've only once found a good teem on silver 2 adepts, vanguard and my engineer.

In case the devs are reading this, just want to add another vote for some kind of level requirement (or at least a search filter of some sort) for silver/gold matches. It's ridiculous how long it can take to get a solid-seeming squad together to take on a silver or gold level. I do also agree that the default should be "Bronze", not "Any."

I'm looking for a team for gold. Don't wanna have ransoms or risk going with people I haven't played with. Silver is easy as an infiltrator, just gotta deal with those god damn phantoms first ._.

jeez. the boot feature is stupid. boot low levels because they dont know silver/gold match etiquette without having played the game? thats a sure fire way to dissuade newcomers. personally I think the boot feature should be REMOVED from the game and replaced with more intelligent matchmaking. its actually a failing of BW that matches low levels out of their league (the default to any difficulty being an example) or dont start automatically, and that host migration during the game play isnt smooth. bioware needs to fix multiplayer by using brackets when matchmaking players so that players that are high level get placed in the same group preferentially (which is reward for leveling up) and low levels get bunched together. a match should start on a countdown timer whether players are ready or not, this allows players time to change out weapons and purchase upgrades need it be but lets the game roll on without having to disband after every match. BTW if bioware wanted to get serious about multiplayer they need to include a lobby or a filter so players can form groups from those currently online.

its also fricken moronic that low levels boot a high level player cause his getting the kills (fk).. or **** heels out to grief by booting a player from a group..

This can happen with a glitch. I've searched for bronze games only to end up in silver lobbies/games.

I agree. Level 10 min to be in a silver lobby and level 15 min to be in a gold lobby would be nice.

I would be OK with level 10 for gold. Silver don't require high levels.

It is rather annoying. Seeing a level 1 thinking they're amazing and can handle the higher difficulties only to get whooped right off the bat.
