Biotics can combo abilities together.
(I.E. Adept Melee bash into Vanguard Charge)
Tip to Biotics (IF they haven't figured it out already)

I know you can combo warp+throw, stasis+warp and stasis+throw but I dont understand your example... Are you saying that the adept heavy melee can do a biotic explosion? I never tried it and i never saw anyone do it.

I've caused biotic explosions in single player when melee'ing into a singularity so I guess mp will be the same.

I still don't understand the biotics that well (mostly out of playing Vanguard in SP) but I'm playing adept now and loving it, I personally just love warp spam coupled with sniper rifle, so much fun, although warp spamming with any gun works lol.

Heh, so -that- is what it was!
And here I was wondering as to why my Adept only pulled that off once. Getting into melee without that fancy blue punch of doom isn't nearly as fun.

I mean, the Sentinel, Vanguard, and Adept, (Am I forgetting one?, I dunno), if they are all in a match played by your team, all three of you can combo abilities together. Near fighting game style.
It's been a staple since Mass Effect 1, but since the multiplayer is here, just letting you guys know to keep the mic handy, you guys can take down big enemies like Phantoms/Centurions right quick. Even an Atlas. Don't get close.
EDIT: Any experts should let us know what Biotic Explosion is. I think it's the combination of certain moves. Not sure.

Tip to anyone NOT playing biotics... let the effing adept detonate their own stasis. I don't care if you shoot my enemies with warp. I don't care if you kill an enemy I have just thrown. But for the love of god, just because I stasis an enemy, doesn't mean everyone has to stop shooting their target, just to shoot mine. If I detonate a stasis it affects everyone else around him. So stop. Please.

Warp, throw then a big boom on my asari. Extremely satisfying.

I'm very interested to know exactly which powers can detonate each other, and what order is necessary. I know that warp detonates singularity, for example, but picking up a warped target with singularity doesn't cause an explosion. But I have seen warped targets explode, so something can pop the warp DOT.

Get out of here, techie. We don't like your kind around here
I never knew warp/throw chained together. I have yet to unlocked the asari adept. Could you do this in ME2?

I believe so, but it was impossible to do yourself due to GCD. With some luck, timing, and the right squadmates I believe you can do it.

Singularity + Warp or Throw = Death to all the floaters

Adepts and Engineers are both walking combo engines of destruction now.
Adepts can use Warp/Singularity/Stasis + Throw/Melee to get bombs.
Engineers can get their own bombs via combining Incinerate + Overload/Cryo Blast.

Pull + Cluster Grenade or Charge = Wave in a second. if not, you have a shotgun.

stasis/warp/singluarity + shockwave also works.
I love detonating on my sentinel.

You can also test this with Human Sentinel as they have both Warp and Throw; that is my main. And yes, you could do this in ME2.
I love(d) using throw all the way back in ME1, so fun to ragdoll mobs. Always handy to stagger/knockdown.
As for a tip: You can stagger Guardians (shield guys) with Thow, giving you a ~2 second window to shoot them. But so far I haven't found a way to actually disarm them no matter how I arc throw.

You can de-shield Guardians if you hit them with any knockdown effect from the back or gun side. It doesn't matter much though because they usually die so fast right after it.

In ME2, I discovered that you never need to combo anything more complicated than Heavy Warp + Heavy Warp. Since Warp explodes when it hits a biotic effect and Heavy Warp explodes like crazy, this will wipe out Harbinger on the highest difficulty.
Dunno whether that's still the case.
