I don't know if anyone has encountered this bug or not. But while facerolling with my asari adept (lolzintended), I come across a very special Phantom every once and awhile that is completely immune to Stasis (and pretty much everyother ability since my friend complained his cryo thingy wasn't doing anything) so she just flips around with zero fear of being cc'd. So there we are trying not to get insta gibbed shooting sparatically.

I mean wtf do we do lol?

It was one of the target's you had to take down right, she was highlighted blue? Yes THOSE are immune to stasis. And what you do is shoot her, or shoot her with a rocket.

Apparently they have some sort of biotic absorb ability. What difficulty were you playing on?

They're never immune to vanguard charge + shotgun to the face, by the way.

i dunno....i have yet to find an unstasisable phantom....i did notice, however, that a phantom cannot be stasis'd unless they are specifically targeted....but maybe it could have been lag. meh

Phantoms only seem to be immune to stasis when they have their barriers up. Take those barriers down and then you should be able to put them in stasis. I do it all the time with my asari adept.

yeah, but they sometimes catch you right after/before hitting with
charge, killing you instantly. happened twice to me just about 10
minutes ago.

Sounds like a bug. I always catch Phantoms in stasis, even with their barriers up.

She's not immune to stasis bubble. The phantom instantly died when I casted stasis bubble on her. I don't know if my team sniped her or something, but as soon as she was in stasis, she died. This was done on silver difficulty btw.

But once their barrier is down there is no need to put them in stasis because they are only 1 second away from dead.

What a fing Catch 22 that is.

You can't stasis them when you need to but can when you don't need to.

That was the entire problem with CCs in ME 2.

Nope Phantoms are stasisable even with bariers up.

It was on silver and they were the target for whatever. It was just no abilities could be used on her at all. She'd walts through my stasis bubble herpaderping.

Ive noticed the glitch to, i think its the dodge animation. They dodge every freaking power thats no charge or stasis. Its really frustrating how hard it is to cryo the jerks. So i just quick scope em.

They ARE initially immune to everything but stasis and charge. They ARE NOT intentionally immune to stasis (even with their barriers up). If they are it is a glitch and one I hope is fixed for the game.

Tis what I'm saying its a glitch for sure, a painful glitch at that.

Yeah but others were talking about it as if it was part of the gameplay mechanic.

Agree. Vanguard charge just messes them up badly.

I was about to open a thread about that :D

Yeah I've seen quite a lot of phantoms "immune" to my bubbles, maybe more so in gold levels (but then again it might be because there is a lot more)
If it's a bug it's pretty annoying and cost me my life more than once...

it doesnt (always), as stated above. seems to be glitchy. sometimes they kill you like in mid-air, just before/after you've hit they slash you into pieces, no chance to be revived either. you cant even do a thing.

I believe that if you use stasis many times on the phantom then it becomes immune, because at the beginning of the round it always words, but after I stasis it a few times it fails

You can only stasis a target three times. So don't waste it and tell your teammates to kill it asap.

or play as a assari that didnt pick stasis bubble and picked 50%more damage while in stasis and watch them fold like house of cards in the first charge

You did that to your stasis? You know bubble works on guardians? And multiple enemies?

HOW COULD YOU?
