So when you see one of us off in the distance, flanking a crowd, do us a favor and stay away. It does us no good to have you showing up and giving away my location because you are a krogan tank and you feel the need to go green and hulk smash.

P.S. Bioware, please fix the following glitch. When someone is standing behind me and im zoomed in, i can only see them. Kind of funny to see the people behind me.

Got a mic? Use it to tell your squad what you're doing.

That's the problem, out of all the matches I've played, only 4 people total actually used their mic.

Fine, just don't nag at me if I'm pushing your targets outta the way or "stealing" your kills cause you couldn't get a headshot on dude.

As a Volus im not foolish enough to go without purchasing the very best for my needs. Turtle Beach are snug and tight around my ears.

This is one of the few areas where the xbox has an advantage. Every xbox comes with a headset, so people actually use them since you don't have to buy your own.

Then again, the disadvantage is that everyone has a mic.

And yet the Demo is full of friendly and cooperative people. I haven't seen, and I swear this on everything I hold dear to me, rage or spam the voice chat. It all has been friendly and fun.

Those who don't have mics follow and play just as well.

I agree. But I honestly find that I help the squad out more if I get a body shot, and then get the assist. Head shots are money if u can, but a lot of time I can help that vanguard out by making his enemies 3/4 easier to kill. Helps them by taking crippling an enemy, helps me by not accruing any agro by getting headshots.....try it....the AI notices when one guy is headhunting. And yes, I'm perfectly content getting only an "assist". Make it longer, better prizes!

Yeah...so talk to us. Use your mic to say I'm going to my own position. Most groups that survive stick together...they are likely just doing that. And if it is that important then just play a solo game. When it comes down to it the infiltrator seems to be good at three things: uploading those four devices, healing a downed squadmate, and stealth shotty someone in the back when they follow other people.
But don't yell at people for sticking together in a co-op game designed to stick together.

I love how people make common sense into so MLG required skill. It's common ****ing sense. If you think you need a mic for people to understand this, then you must be one of the baddies the OP is talking about. Good lord.

BS. If I see my teammate running off alone I'll follow him to ensure that he doesn't get flanked and can be rez'd easily if needed. The four man squad can work really well as two groups of two. How do I know he doesn't want me to follow him?

That answer is simple enough. BECAUSE HE IS AN INFILTRATOR! That class is meant to be a loner, showing up for assist, and sometimes in the brunt of the fight freezing baddies left and right. When characters rush the infiltrator all you do is defeat everything about the stealth they posess. Often times a decent infiltrator will position themselves behind the enemy or close by for those close encounters to save a downed teammate quickly. I cant tell you how many times ive rolled through silver wave 8 on my own because ive had 3 downed team mates, STEALTH is what keeps you alive through moments like that.

I'd like to expand the message of the OP to Vanguards as well: If you see us rampaging through the enemies in the distance, leave us alone and don't take away the targets we need to recharge our barriers.
It's like Charge, Nova, Ch...where's my friggin' target, I'm at zero protection here ffs!?!

Noted. As an asari, I will remember now not to fire stasis anymore the next time an infiltrator decloaks near phantoms.

//
Unfortunately there is no way to tell if the infiltrator in question does know what he is doing. I have seen pretty horrible ones, where all he did was snipe, and i had to do all the rezzing(including his corpse)

I play Infiltrator, never had this problem. Though I usually fight right into the thick of things most of the time anyway.

It's called teamwork. You'll need it when you decide to stop playing on bronze.

Well, in fairness (and this is coming from someone who has mostly played Vanguard in the demo), that's "risk" part of the "high risk, high reward" class. You can't fault someone for actually killing an enemy. They're just laying down supporting fire for you :D

Also, I think that everyone will get better at this as time goes on. We're all still learning. No one has had this demo for more than a week, yet. We'll all get there.

Well I know all the people I've played with appreciate me when I beat the last waves of silver for them. Infiltrator is the best!

I've played as a Drell Vanguard and human/salarian infiltrators and I'm somewhat perplexed by the OP. I never found that having teammates around put me at a disadvantage. Even if you are trying to sneak, your teammates being nearby will only help, because they will draw the enemies attention.

Just because you might be playing a flanking class doesn't mean you don't need teammates and the onus is on you as the flanker to keep your teammates positions and situations in mind.

And as for stealing kills, whomever shoots fastest and bestest gets the kill. Don't complain about it, just kill faster.
