They're just laying down supporting fire for you [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

Well, then you can actively support someone to death in ME. Who would've thunk it.:D

Also, I think that everyone will get better at this as time goes on. We're all still learning. No one has had this demo for more than a week, yet. We'll all get there.

Certainly and posts like this are, for me, part of the process. I'm not an Infiltrator, for example, and don't really know their playstyle. Thus I need them to tell me when I'm doing something that hinders their efficiency. Same goes for all the other classes I haven't really played.
On the other hand, people who know litle about Vanguards need to be told that being able to charge an enemy isn't a threat but a necessity to survive the overall encounter.

Dear Bioware,

Please enable friendly fire. This will allow me to kill my teammates who feel the need to run in front of me and stand still while I am scoped and ready to shoot. This same problem is why I would make sure Miranda died during every playthrough of ME2.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Zorg.

I'd like to expand the message of the OP to Vanguards as well: If you see us rampaging through the enemies in the distance, leave us alone and don't take away the targets we need to recharge our barriers.
It's like Charge, Nova, Ch...where's my friggin' target, I'm at zero protection here ffs!?!

Err how the hell are we supposed to know which is your target?

We are not your babysitters.

Just for the record the OP speaks for himself and no one else.

You're not. The 'leave us alone' part was basically a paraphrasing of: If you see a Vanguard in a group of enemies, look for a different group of enemies to attack. :P

What does everyone mean by rezzing? I assume it means reviving but, where did the word come from?

I assumes it comes from resurrecting --> rezzing

I still appreciate the help, but I understand the risk when flanking (enemy respawn sad face)

Good communication with your team is all you need. Don't be a jerk OP!

Never had this problem. Probably cause I tend to adopt a sniper playstyle and actually stay away from trouble. Never leaving cover unless I'm cloaked.

Good grief, everyone's so protective/defensive about their personal favourite class, especially it seems vanguards and infiltrators.

If anyone really cares about tactics that much, then communicate through voice chat. Otherwise just chill about it.

L2Kill faster. Honestly I don't need to flank while I'm playing my infiltrator. I'm either sniping and covering the krogan/vanguard or right next to them with my pistol and slamming cloak/en drain for shield recharge or stun. Only time you would need to flank would be maybe for a phantom? I don't know, don't really see the point of separating yourself from the team.

P.S: I had an infiltrator what kept shinning about dying during my last match, he wanted to go off and do the same and died every wave a phantom spawned

The only annoyance is when people use powers on guardians right when I'm about to headshot them through the slit. Other than that I don't mind people following me.

Get the widow, you don't even need to aim for the slit, just the general area for a free headshot.

Unfortunately you cant just "get the widow", I've bought what seems like at least 50 vet packs, still no ME2 special weapons

I always play an engineer, and I never have the highest kill counts (highest assists though) I'm always overloading where a vanguard is getting into trouble, and I'm always rezzing an infiltrator that was brought down by a phantom. Teamwork gets you through the mission. Loners die.

As a vanguard, I strongly disagree with this.

Message from Maulin Delos, Salarian Infiltrator: Will everyone please stop walking into my line of sight? Because one of these days, I'm just going to pull the trigger and you will end up with an extra b-hole.

I agree with the OP, but still you do have to tell people what youre doing.

Infiltrators shine when no one looking, we are pretty much the unknown saviors.

I'm sorry. I was the krogan that was launching Cerberus guys into orbit because they were hitting you in the back of your head while you were trying to get that super awesome 1337 headshot that you never seem to get.

Here's a hint: If you feel something cold and hard poking the back of your head, You probably should not be there.

Actually, if anything is poking you back there, you should probably run. Nothing good comes from something hard jabbing at your head.

Ok. I play an infiltrator semi-regularly (been trying out all the classes atm..) and I completely disagree with the OP. Snipers in real life work in at least two man teams. I'm all about having an Asari Adept with me to stasis that Phantom that's about to stab me in the ass, or a Soldier to frag that group of Assault Troopers who're about to crack my skull in, or whatever.

Yes, I have cloak. Yes, I can escape more situations than most could. But I wholeheartedly welcome support when I'm taking a new position.

So, no, OP doesn't speak for all infiltrators.
