Daru i think it was me who was being an aggressive krogan one time with you...I also remember you getting a bit frazzled when I was melee'ing waiting for the next round to start.

So i apologize if i offended you...but Krogans don't care about anyone else...so suck it up. :P
Peace.

Funny since it's mostly Infiltrators who are solo-ing Silver. Image IPB

oh my, didn't take long for the egos to develop in this series.

QFT

it looks like the infiltrator and vanguard players both think that their class is uberpro and the other are just the support ones.

Edit: and while it is partially true its just because different classes have different roles. A vanguard has abilities that will take down multiple enemies, but still needs the team to succeed.

Infiltrators are able to solo bronze/silver due to cloak. You don't need any skills to activate cloak. It doesn't make you a half god who should not be bothered while he is taking his shots.

Fine, just don't nag at me if I'm pushing your targets outta the way or "stealing" your kills cause you couldn't get a headshot on dude.

When an uppity vanguard talks to me like this I stop killing the engineers and turrets and watch him faceplant.

Right, just like the Vanguards don't need any skills to properly use Charge to take down multiple enemies. Image IPB

I'm the adept that popped a singularity on those assault troopers rushing in behind you.

I'm the soldier that took a rocket to the face so you wouldn't take it in your ***.

I'm the engineer that overloaded that centurion's shields so you could kill it with a body shot instead of a headshot.

I'm the sentinel that popped his tech armor so you could find safety.

I'm the vanguard that cleaned up your flank while you were lining up that perfect headshot.

I'll admit that infiltrator is a crazy fun class to play when done right, but the reality is that as other classes I've averted dozens of flanking attacks on infiltrators who were too focused on what was in their scope to notice what was to their side. And having tried to play a mission alone as an infiltrator, I can say even on Bronze you notice the lack of teammates.

Cryo Blast or cloaking solves that problem.

Going into cover solves that problem.

Fully evolved cloaking solves that problem.

Cloaking solves that problem.

Cloaking solves that problem.

I agree with most Infiltrators not having any situational awareness whatsoever. I'm glad I'm not one of them.

This is one of the few areas where the xbox has an advantage. Every xbox comes with a headset, so people actually use them since you don't have to buy your own.

Then again, the disadvantage is that everyone has a mic.

And yet the Demo is full of friendly and cooperative people. I haven't seen, and I swear this on everything I hold dear to me, rage or spam the voice chat. It all has been friendly and fun.

Those who don't have mics follow and play just as well.

This. I've honestly been shocked at how civil everyone I've played with has been when compared with other games. Perhaps it's because the crowd that plays ME is slightly older than the Halo/CoD group...

No problem. My sentinel or engineer will take care of them anyway.

When I play as an Infiltrator, my time is divided between sniping with my widow and reviving teammates using my tactical cloak. The cloak is really useful for a medic role, allowing a squishy Infiltrator to revive a teammate surrounded my enemies.

Snipers in real life work in at least two man teams.

If thats your argument it is a poor one. The reason snipers in real life work as a two man team is because of spotting issues and mathmatics. Plain and simple. Calculations such as wind speed, earths orbit, distance, all come into play and having someone to back up the numbers makes a big difference. In this game, im not worried about the orbit of a planet, so dont fool yourself into thinking you need help from someone.

I am all for a team effort, and i can voice it with my friends who understand what i am doing just fun. Its just you randoms out there thinking you have to be in the midst of it all ruining it for the rest of the infilitrators.

Everyone needs to just get along, Christ. I play all classes and I'm tired of this cross-class ****ing.

I really don't mind someone having my back as an Infiltrator as I have to rush in to save them most of the time before they get stomped so it's easy to have them close. Though I'm a pretty flexible infiltrator I enjoy sniping but if I see my friends in trouble I'll literally rush across the map to save you then rush out of there to snipe anyone near you.

Suppose I'm just nice though because if I do die most of the time it's going in to rescue someone. Really just comes down to talking with your team though and working together to form a strategy that suits your play style.
