These acheivements seem a bit ridiculous

As for set foot in every area , does that mean across all saves or all in one save? Does it inclue the final few areas? If so what ##% of areas should it say I've been in before I start the end of the game bit?

What are some areas to go to that I might not know of?

All possible endings?

I assume they are :
Have Allistar sacrifice self
Have Loghain sacrifice self
YOU sacrifice yourself
Morrigans ritual saves everyones life

That right or wrong list of all possible endings?

As for 250 dmg in 1 hit , is that even possible with any attack besides Arrow of Slaying?

As my rogue I never got that , as my mage I never got it , as my Warrior I've managed to hit a "Final blow" for 248 (SO CLOSE) but it consistently hits below the 250 mark while always not being that far off

I'm fairly sure that ALL the achievements are across all saves (I know the 1000 darkspawn one is), and I think the 250 damage is completely impossible without Arrow of Slaying, or some mage spell cast by a level 20 who has put every single point they've ever gotten into Magic.

EDIT: And yes, that's all the endings.

I split my mages points about half and half between magic & willpower and at lvl 24 with the best equipment it was rare to see even 100 dmg on a single spell let alone 250

I've been trying for the 250 hit in melee and unable to get it. According to the codex entry, all of my melee characters have a biggest hit of 157. I'm assuming there's some sort of cap, whether intentional or a bug.



I hear you can blow well past 250 with spells, but I haven't tried a mage that far yet.

You can accomplish over 250 dmg with a spell (over time or considering dmg done to multiple targets) but not really with a single target spell like lightning or anything

I once did 160 damage with the 'Final Blow' Berserker skill.



This was with a level 18 longsword dual-wielding warrior. I believe I used Topsider's Honor for the hit.

I got traveller on my first play though just following the story line and doing most of the side quests. All endings I could see taking some commitment. As for the 250 hit is it damage against one target? If it's damage from a single attack I could see a well placed fireball tripping that one. If it's one hit then perhaps a Berserker 2h hit?

I did 248 with starfang once but it seems impossible to get the 250 mark

I wonder if using a Ballista during the final fight would count for the 250 achievement. I was doing 100+ damage with them.

No multiple target collective dmg doesn't count or I would have gotten the acheivement easily with my mage

I got 250 with Entropic Death at level 12.. Plenty of people report having gotten it with Arrow of Slaying.

I somehow ended the game with 96% areas traveled. I did everything. Except that Slim in Denerim wouldn't give me a few of his quests, though I had both stealing and stealth. If he sends you to a new area in even one of those quests..I'm guessing that's what I missed.



Those are all the possible endings.



I have not even come close to getting 250 damage. I have no idea how.

You do not need Slim Couldry quests for the area achievement. You don't need Lelianna's, Alistair's, or Wynne's sidequest areas, either.



I got it my first playthrough and did none of the above.

Arrow of slaying is a shoe in , I've seen Lelianna do it in excess of 600-700 dmg



Well , now that you all point out how to do it as a mage well its too late I beat the game and have no enemies to go kill with my mage untill return to ostagar is released



I want my next character to be a rogue again but I don't know if I really want to do bow & arrow rogue before a dex fix patch can be made

If you aren't getting there then may I suggest spending more points in the strength attribute (if you are a warrior) or Dexterity (if you are a rogue who uses a bow)



And like Shady314 mentions, Death Hex + Death Cloud deals massive damage...

Yup! Just got this achievement on my second playthrough. Mage with manaclash, lvl 10 in the Broken Circle fade. Used it on fake-flemeth (Morrigan's nightmare) and boom...

I got the 'set foot in every area' on my first playthrough. And I only completed 60% or so. So I don't think that is very difficult to get at all.

Well what exactly do you want an "achievment" from? turning on the game? hitting level 3? Some of them should be hard to get.

Did you ever enter the Proving Area?

I got it with virulent walking bomb and affliction hex with only 45 magic.
