Hello, not sure if anyone has the answer to this yet but...

I was curious if the DLC Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner will initiate at a certain level when your high enough to tackle the content or is it scaled so I can go at anytime? There is supposedly extra storage available from completing Warden's Keeps from what I read and I'd like to take advantage of that as soon as possible.

Thanks! :D

Oh thats actually a good question that i would like to kno the answer too .. will it be something you have to pick up the quest for somewhere or will it just pop in no matter what lvl you are (example: starting a new guy and leaving the vault in Fallout 3 .. you get all the prompts for the downloads you've purchased).

Someone answer this! ^_^

Yeah, I too would like some more info about this, will it scale for your level, or will we have to wait until we are strong enough?

Tbh, you could probably go there the minute you're done with your Origin story and the Battle of Ostagar (spelling?).

As I understand it it works just like a normal quest.

The NPC who prompts you to buy Warden's Keep in-game is also the one who gives you the quest when you get to that area.

I inferred this from an employee's post on the other forums, but I may have misunderstood.

From the details in the DLC, Stone Prisoner side quest should be available right after your origin quests.

As for the Warden's Keep, I would assume it will be close to lvl 10 or higher, since you will most likely need a full party and some decent skill to deal with the undead.

These are just assumptions on my part, so any more info would be splendid.

You go when you want. It's all scaled. I'll be off to get Shale the moment out of origin.

You can do the stone prisoner as soon as you get access to the world map. I didn't do it right away, went one place first and did some quests and then did the stone prisoner questline and it wasn't any harder or easier than anything I had faced. I think I was level 6 for it, not sure if it scales.

Thanks for the replies...

So far it sounds like Stone Prisoner can be done at anytime after you access the world map.

Anyone have more info for Warden's Keep?

After the origin and first chapter of the game, it becomes free roaming. As long as you find the questgiver, you can go there at any time.

Thanks, any idea if Warden's Keep has a recommended level?

I did Warden's Keep as soon as I was able (after the first act).  It scales, so don't worry about it being too hard if you do it early.

The only advice I can give is that it may be wise to get Shale before you head to Orzammar. Especially if you plan on making it one of your stable trio. More I will not say.

Other than that, do them whenever you wish really.

Once you finish Lothering I think it just shows up on your world map.

Early... do it early. You get really good stuff and I did not find either Stone Prisoner or Warden's Keep too difficult at low levels.

No need to get Shale before you go to Orzammar, BTW. You'll still trigger her personal quest later in conversation. Stone Prisoner quest giver is at Sulcher's Pass, a location that appears on your map on the western shore of Lake Calenhad.

He shows up in your party camp after Lothering.

I'd definitely do warden's keep as early as possible given that it gives you the first good looking plate armor :D

ok.... another thing. How do you get these DLC's? I "paid" for the Warden's Keep one and I redeemed the code for the stone prisoner, but neither are showing up anywhere. Even in the "available content" part of the main menu, where stone prisoner is shown, but no matter how many times i click "Download" and it "downloads", I haven't seen the pass on my map either.... *is lost and confused* (By the way, I have it for the PC, and the BloodDragon Armor redeem code worked fine.)

Can't help you on the technical side, I'm afraid. All we did was download from the game menu and the content appeared in-game right away.

I do Stone Prisoner pretty early. I find the Redcliffe Village Battle is much easier with Shale in the group...and if you take her with you into the castle, Shale comments on how annoying Isolde is ... win.
