 This is a very odd problem I've been getting, both in single and multiplayer.  Whenever I move the mouse to aim, there is significant lag in the transitions the cursor makes to where I intend to aim.  The game runs very smoothly otherwise, but the moment I try to turn or switch targets, there's a very noticeable pause before my view orients itself.

I've tried many things to fix this problem.  I normally run 1024 x768, so I tried 800 x 600 to see if that would fix it; no dice.  I've turned off AA, dynamic shadows, and mouse dampening, none of these has fixed it.

That really sounds like a serious hardware limitation.

Go to origin settings, then in-game tab and disable origin in-game, then relaunch ME3. See if that works.

If you're in the mood to experiment, you can disable vsync. Go to my documents\\bioware\\mass effect 3 demo\\config and open gamersettings.ini. Add this line -

UseVsync=False

To the [SystemSettings] list of commands.

1024x768 and 800x600? Those resolutions are ancient! D:

If you have vsync on try disabling tripple buffering if that is enabled.

Hah! I had this exact same problem - not only was it making the game unplayable due to mouse lag, it was scrambling the input from my Razer mouse. (Other mice worked fine, though still laggy).

Tried lowering the graphic settings, disabling video card options... nothing.

The solution? Go to Origin settings, and disable Origin in-game.

Yet another example of EA ruining my ME experience? Eeesh.

Disabling Origin in-game fixed it entirely. I even switched everything else back up and it runs smoother than ever. A big thank-you to the folks who suggested it, the problem is completely fixed and I can finally enjoy the multiplayer ^^
