The N7 Edition has the N7 weapon set - very cool.

Gamestop has the missing weapon from the N7 weapon set as it's pre-order.

You can't pre-order the N7 Edition from Gamestop, as they sold their allocation weeks ago.

My problem with all this is that Gamestop readily admit that they only ever have an extremely limited number of collector editions of any given game. This is because they don't accept them in their lucrative trade-in scheme.
This is the trade-in scheme that is costing game developers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Knowing all of this, why would Bioware divide up the content in this way?

Can whatever Gamestop is paying for the exclusive pre-order content off-set the money Bioware is losing in people buying the game used? I don't know.
What I do know for sure is that Gamestop are going to be getting about $50 from when I pick up a used copy and Bioware won't see a penny of it.
